  1. Nothing has changed on this computer - no updates, no new software, nothing....but Evernote will not stop syncing! I am using El Capitan, 10.11.6, Evernote 6.12.2 - and of course can't update THAT because it is eternally syncing. Emailed support but have heard nothing. I'm a premium member.
  2. This is a brand new issue - have used Evernote and web clipper for forever. On some sites (Yummly specifically) it will not copy the content even though I tell it to save the full page. At first I thought it was only that website, but then I went to a second site and it does the same thing. Wow - what happened? I have already installed all updates, including one this morning. Running OS X 10.9.5 Thanks!
  3. Thank you! I've had Evernote and used the clipper for years....never signed in before tonight. I've signed in to Evernote - but never the Clipper. Something else I just noticed is the black sidebar - I can hardly read it and hate that....how can I change it? Thanks again jbignert....
  4. Did you hear that scream? That was me. I now get the "save to Evernote" message when I right click, but when I do that, it TELLS ME TO LOGIN TO THE WEB CLIPPER!!!! Sorry for the noise - this has been an ongoing issue ever since I reset my password, and I am ready to be done with it. Evernote is open. Where in the heck does a person login to the web clipper? I've never seen where to do that! Thanks for trying to resolve this.
  5. OS is 10 - version 10.8.3 Safari is 6.0.3 And now I can't even find the Clipper in Safari Extensions ???? but when I click on the elephant, it allows only selecting a section or the screenshot choice. It tells me I can drag files there which is new since I reset my password. This is new today - since following your instructions. Normally it just tells me I have to login, and I've never figured out where I'm supposed to do that. I want this back to the way it was before I reset my password. When I right click on my mouse, there are no Evernote options - because it's not in Safari maybe???? How can it work at all and where would it be???? Thanks for your help BTW.
  6. I followed your suggestions and it still does not work. I have the latest version. At this point, I am just copying and pasting. I do NOT understand why resetting my password made this stop working. I should never have done that.
  7. I am so frustrated. Ever since I had to reset my password, the web clipper doesn't work AT ALL. It constantly comes up with an error message saying I must log in, but there's no spot where I can do that ---and actually, I'm already logged in every doggone place I can think of! This has been an ongoing problem for years now - and when it "fixes" itself, I never know exactly what has happened to make it work. I've rebooted, logged off, logged on, and am out of alternatives. Yes, I've reinstalled the clipper for Safari as well. Is there something I am missing here? At this rate, I don't need to pay for premium service because all I'm doing is copying and pasting - I can get free storage for those files if that's all I can do. Have enjoyed Evernote when it has worked and referred a LOT of people....but this should not stop working because I was required to reset a password. (And I won't even address the reasons I had to do that.) Any ideas I can try???
  8. No - it worked that one time and hasn't worked since! It's really frustrating. Sometimes I can get it to work by right clicking on the mouse and saving there - but the web clipper icon doesn't work at all for me.
  9. I have the latest updates of both Mac Lion and Safari.
  10. Okay, I know this is so uncool, but I'm going to follow up on my own post. It's amazing what a little complaining here will do....I just got it to work for the first time EVER on this Mac. Here's the solution for others with a similar issue: I had to uninstall the old clipper, and I did this through Safari. I wondered if that was the deal but never could figure out where it was! My interface still doesn't look like what I've seen on the blogs - can't figure that part out - but it DOES work and that's the bottom line!
  11. I've had Evernote for a few years now, but got a new Mac in April, and it just doesn't work for me anymore! Loved it when it worked, but the Web Clipper does nothing on this computer. I have downloaded the latest version supposedly for Safari, but I never get a screen like I've seen on some of the blogs....and what I have simply does nothing at all. How do I get this to work? If I try to copy and paste, even that gets messed up - it looks like sometimes the entire block of text goes into the title or something, and the page stays blank when I do it that way. So, since I've paid up again, I need to figure this out. Can anyone help? Occasionally I get the message that I have to sign in to the clipper - but I sure don't know where that is or why I would have to do that every time. BJ Adding: I also just realized that even though I downloaded the Clipper from the Evernote website, the little elephant icon looks different than what it should be...nothing around it, no "stamp, just plain elephant. Does that indicate something...like an old version or something? How would I check and why is it doing that if it comes from the website???
