This is a follow-up report. I have solved the problem.

The problem seemed to be related to the fact that the destination notebook was not displayed, so I created a new notebook and created a new note there.

After that, I found out that it is possible to create a new note in an inherited notebook that is not a new notebook, as long as it is a notebook other than the main notebook.

Initially, the main notebook did not appear in the selection screen (it was blank) and could not be selected, but after organizing the notebooks and syncing them, the notebook list is now displayed correctly. Then, I selected the main notebook again and tried to create a new notebook, and it worked fine.

It may be that the number of notes in my main notebook is more than 20,000, which may have interfered with the notebook list information or its data transfer.

    Thanks.

Just wanted to thank you. I have been experiencing this issue for more than a year and had given up on Evernote. Even more frustrating to have regulars dismiss people having this problem.

It caused my to stop being a paying subscriber after using EN since the beginning. Such a stupid bug. I wonder how many paying subscribers dropped EN over this because they were unable to create new notes.

  2. I cannot believe a company of this size would release such a steaming pile of dung and put out so many customers.

I'm running a much fast windows PC than most people ever will on a network connection that is faster than most people have and it's completely useless.

Everything I do results in a spinning green wheel. EVERYTHING. Utter garbage. I've been with Evernote since the beginning and it's amazing how a company manages to make a product worse over a period of 15 years.
