That is not my experience. I click a tag and get a list of notes. I then create a new note and it is pre-populated with that tag.

Evernote version 10.26 (2230549) that I am using on my iPhone XS MAX does not work that way.
Click on a tag to see a list of notes.
→ Create a new note.
→ Not with tags.
Currently, when I select a tag in the tag list and press [New Note], a new note is opened in the default notebook.
Instead, I would like the focus not to move to the default notebook, but to stay focused on the tag selected in the tag list.
Right now, when I select a tag from the tag list and select [New Note], the tag in the created note is blank.
I would like it so that when I select a tag in the tag list and run [New Note], the note will have the tag selected by default.
