  1. it's buried (wish it weren't) under Share button » More share options » Copy internal link.
  2. @gustavgi, cc: @kvitekp my god, man. I can't thank you enough for this. unless I'm missing something, it doesn't seem possible to select *multiple* tags once you've 'staged' them in a temporary note ... have you found any similarly effective workaround for selecting multiple tags for hierarchical reorganization? n.
  3. hello. can someone tell me where the best place to report URLs that cause the web clipper to hang? 5. ditto. for those of us who are heavy taggers, is this (below) then the most efficient workaround? Context Menu > Evernote Web Clipper > Clip URL > Edit > Show Details > Add Tags ...
  6. yes, please! this actually alludes to another little bit of related functionality I'd really love to have ...have the web clipper provide some visual indicator whether the current URL already exists as a sourceURL anywhere in my NoteStore. similarly, the option to run the 'Related Notes' algorithm at the *start* of the clipping sequence might work as well.
  7. thank you for the reply, that's fantastic news. let me know if there's anything I can do to help troubleshoot.
  8. can someone tell me why new tags created via the web clipper are forced to lower-case? is there any way to stop this from happening?
  9. thank you for the reply, and thank you for implementing the increased character limit!
  10. I gather the answer to the first part of my question is 'yes': so now the question becomes ... would it be ill-advised to hack the character limit?
  11. greetings. it seems I'm no longer able to compose new tags with a character count/length greater than 30 though I am able to select *existing* tags that have 30+ characters ... is this change intentional and if so is there any way to lift the restriction? Environment: Windows 7 SP1 64bit Chrome v19.0.1084.52 m Web Clipper v5.4 Build ID: 251294 Context: All other Extensions DISABLED To Replicate: Click on Evernote Web Clipper extension icon Insert cursor in the field labelled 'Click to add tags' Type any string of text longer than 30 characters Screenshots:
  12. greetings. at some point I lost the ability to TAB between Username <-> Password fields when prompted to login from the webclipper ... a minor issue I know but I'm hoping it warrants a fix. Environment: Windows 7 SP1 64bit Chrome v18.0.1025.168 m Web Clipper v5.3.2 Context: All other Extensions DISABLED To Replicate: Make certain you're *not* logged in to Evernote Click on Evernote Web Clipper extension icon Enter username (if field is empty) Press TAB key ... Press TAB key ... Press TAB key ... etc. Screenshots:
  13. all things being equal, better would be to reinstate search-for-tag-by-substring before optimizing 'smart tag' speed. assuming 'augmented memory/information retrieval' is still one of Evernote's principle value propositions, and assuming 'tags' are a core feature of that value proposition, it seems contradictory that users should now be required to recall tags *verbatim*.
