I did uninstall before but did not delete data directory.
  3. evernote is not opening in windows 11. I have setup evernote as start up app, it worked couple of times. now it has stopped working completely. not opening at all.
  4. I have windows 11, Evernote latest version 10.28.3. I initially had desktop version of Evernote and it was working fine. 1. Recently, I was exploring Microsoft store and by mistake clicked on Evernote app, it seemed to have installed the app version of Evernote. From then onwards, Evernote stopped opening completely. 2. So I uninstalled the desktop version and tried to check if the app would open, but it didn't help. 3. So I uninstalled the app and reinstalled Evernote desktop version. Since then, Evernote would open sometimes, and sometimes it wouldn't. I tried to run it from command line and could notice "Access is denied" as well as another Error that GPU process exited unexpectedly. I could not see any evernote.exe process running in task manager. Some times, after a restart, it starts working, but other times it doesn't. Am really puzzled by this behavior. Also am curious to know how the windows store's app install method and desktop version, both end up getting installed at same time! Shouldn't it be designed in such a way that, if desktop version is installed then maybe the app shouldn't install in first place !
