I restarted my Mac and just got the truncated menu bar with features I use regularly now stashed under the More button. (v10.79.3 for Mac) UGH! I hope they do revert back to the menu that expands for more options the wider the window is, like before. Glad to know that I'm not the only person who hates the automatic check list thing. I frequently refer to my past lists (work assignments and notes) and cannot stand strikethrough. My work around is to create a table and put check boxes in a second column. It works adequately, but is not as streamlined as it used to be. I agree with others that we should have the option to disable the automatic conversion of lists using checkboxes to check lists. Beyond frustrating!

I really wish they'd add this feature. I like to do one note per week for my work journal, but would like to be able to have an anchor type link within a note so I can quickly navigate to each day or specific content without so much scrolling. A little less tweaking with existing features and a little work on something that's been asked for repeatedly for 7 years would be nice.
