  1. I'm having the same issue. It seemed to have started with the first release from Bending Spoons. Very annoying and seriously kills my productivity. They up the price and decrease the quality. Nice.
  2. I’d like to be able to merge notes which would require the ability to select multiple notes from a list. Like many email programs where you can edit the list and select multiple emails and take actions on them.
  3. I got it to work on my iPhone, but it doesn't work on my Mac. I used the following actions. 1. EN: Get Note (Entered the title of the note) 2. EN: Get Links for Note (passed note from action 1. Selected the option for the In-App Link) 3. Safari: Open URL (Passed URL from action 2)
  4. Is there a way to create an Apple shortcut that will open a specific Evernote note? I've been playing around with it but haven't figured out a way. I wish there was an Evernote action to open a note, but since there isn't, I'm guessing I need to come up with some URL based workaround. Anyone had any luck with this?
  5. @Twitchly, did you lose the notes that were pending import when you did this?
  6. Will this work? https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/compress-pdf.html
  7. @Shane D. on this post you said the import clips issue was fixed with this release. I have upgraded both my iPhone and iPad to the latest mobile app, but I have clips that still aren't importing. Do I really have to delete the apps and reinstall them to resolve this??? Between the 2 apps I have 25 clips I will lose.
  8. You can use Preview to split the document. Just copy the pages you want to create a new document with, then select File -> New From Clipboard and it will create a new document with just the copied pages.
  9. How large is your PDF? For really large PDFs, you lose the "View As" option. I don't remember what the threshold is, but I think it's around 20 or 25 MB. Also, the latest version is 10.9.10, so you may want to try and upgrading to that to see if it resolves your issue.
  10. @David E, that's strange if it doesn't work because you're on Catalina. I would definitely report that as a bug to EN if you haven't already. I am on the latest OS, so that seems to be the only difference.
  11. I'm noticing this as well. I thought maybe I just forgot to close it, but after the 3rd time I realized it wasn't me.
  12. I agree. I have found it counterintuitive when creating a new note that the cursor goes to the body rather than the note Title. I would like to see that changed as well.
  13. You can reinstall the Legacy version and it will have all the features you were used to. Install an older version of Evernote
  14. Huh? Tom, they haven't been silent for 3 months. They have pushed out numerous updates since the initial v10 release, almost on a bi-weekly basis. That's not silence. And the fact that they have been able to push out those updates so quickly is proof that the direction the current CEO has taken them on is working. He has been very open and honest since beginning this rebuild process. Did you read the recent blog post?
  15. You can also email information to EN as well. You can get your EN email address from your Account information page. So you could share a web page into an email, and then send that into EN as well. I think there also are Apple Shortcuts out there for getting things into EN too.
  16. I'm not sure what support is referring to. It works fine for me. They may have only looked at their own internal keyboard shortcuts (Cmd + /) and not seen it, and just assumed it wasn't there and would be in the future. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. This is a Mac shortcut and doesn't have anything to do with Evernote. Is it working for your other applications? I'd suggest checking your keyboard shortcut settings to see if it may have been disabled.
  18. Calling Evernote 10 a "new version" of Evernote is a bit of a misnomer. It's really a whole new platform that has been rebuilt from the ground up for many reasons. As part of that, they didn't try and recreate every single feature of the Legacy version right out of the gate. If you want to get a better understanding of why it is the way it is currently, here's an interview the CEO did a few months back that explains where things are at and where they are heading. Evernote’s CEO on the company’s long, tricky journey to fix itself. There was also a recent blog post on the current state of the product, what's gone well and what hasn't, and what they are currently focusing on. To see what features are coming next, the release notes include a section called Coming Soon that lists those. As far as getting tabs back, the only way to do this is to install the Legacy version of Evernote. If tabs is a big part of your workflow, then you may want to stick with this version for the time being.
  19. I have the same question. I was wondering if it was related to a security setting in a particular PDF, but the size observation makes sense. I'll have to see how big the PDFs are that I have that won't expand. Is there a feature request to allow bigger PDFs to show inline? I couldn't find one.
  20. In the App Store, I noticed I would have to go search for Evernote, then open the app page. Then I'd see the option to update. It seemed to take some time before it showed up in the "Updates" section of the App Store.
  21. 10.5.6 was just released on the 15th. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058361833-Evernote-release-notes
  22. The latest App Store release is 10.5.6. It sounds like 10.5.7 was just released today. There will be a delay before you see that version on the App Store as Apple has to review it and approve it first. If you want to get the releases as soon as they are available, you can download it directly from Evernote.
