I love being able to open PDFs right within notes but since I take notes on my professors' lectures during class, that annotate feature is too clunky and slow to keep up. I would really like a way to be able to highlight text directly in the PDF and insert a new textbox to type right on top of each page.

I think it would be great if we could color-code the task bullet points, as well as the actual text in each task! Right now, I am trying to keep track of my to-dos in a Note so that I can see all the subjects color-coded, all in one place (Today). My gripe is that there is no way to select multiple checklist items (by dragging the bar next to it) to move them all at once, unless you copy and paste. It's tedious to move each one individually so I wish this was all just in the regular Tasks feature.

Is there a way to make it so that my Calendar Widget can be switched from daily view to weekly, monthly, etc.? I like being able to see what events are coming up without having to flip through every page. Additionally, is there a way to see task due dates in the Calendar Widget?

Something I’ve noticed is that you have to go into a note with a checklist in order to “check” that box. You can’t do it from your home screen like you can tasks. But tasks are all clumped together in the widget and I cannot color-code the bullets or text to quickly see which category it belongs to. Is it possible to add this feature? Or at least make it so you can check off to-do boxes in the home screen?

This is an amazing idea! I’m not sure if it would be hard to implement but it would be such a nice feature to have!

I’m looking forward to these being compatible with the new ipad version. My iPad is a lot more portable than my laptop is 😞

I would really like to be able to use a template that has a vertical line on the left side. The Cornell template right now is not at all what I am looking for and does not help me organize ideas and thoughts in the same way. It also takes up way more space this way and doesn't align the ideas/topics with the correlated notes. I am brand new to Evernote and really wanted to switch over from Goodnotes 5 but trying to use this app is so frustrating!

I am brand new to Evernote and was disappointed to see that you cannot password protect/encrypt a notebook. I was thinking of keeping a journal of sorts but those are obviously private thoughts that I wouldn't want anyone being able to access. Is there a way to set a password on the actual Windows application, though? I was able to for my iPad but I can't seem to find the option here.
