Maybe the sensitivity just needs to be changed. My experience isn't as you describe in your earlier message, reaching all the way to one side and swiping across. If while scrolling up thumb moves even slightly to the right (which it does because that's the natural movement of the thumb around it's joint on the hand) the note closes. At this sensitivity it is nothing like the iOS (or Google Pixel) standard gesture. Have indeed issued a support ticket. They recommend just sending feedback through to developers, which I also have.
