I'm seeing the same behaviour on 10.68.2 on Mac lately. Viewing notes seems to change the Updated date. (No changes were made to the note) This is a bug in my view. Version 10.25.6 came out on 11-Nov I noticed that the release notes mentioned a fix for performance on Mac & Windows https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058361833-Evernote-release-notes

I'm on an Intel Macbook Pro running Monterey 12 beta. Evernote is left running continuously, and after a period of days, I will sometimes see high CPU usage of "Evernote Helper (Renderer) " processes. There is usually more than one running. A restart of Evernote fixes this. Seems that Evernote has been listening. "After you duplicate a note, the app will now focus on the new note instead of the original" Thanks Evernote!! This is on version 10.19.2 on macOS which I was prompted to install today. No change to the Creation Date behavior tho.

When you Duplicate a note, the focus is still on the original note. Malcolm is asking that EN change the focus to the newly Duplicated Note. And I agree with this. Take MS Word for example. If you do Save As whilst in a document, you are then editing the new document. Not the original. I'd also like the CREATED date of the Duplicated note to be set as NOW, since that is when I created the duplicate note.

I've upgraded to the new Evernote version 10.16.7-mac-ddl-public (2732) which is a complete rebuild, I believe. The issue with EvernoteSpotlight has not been seen. However, Evernote often becomes "Not Responding" and has to be Force Quit. and restarted Support ticket has been raised for that issue

I've recently upgraded to macOS Monterey 12.0 Beta Evernote seems to be running fine but I am regularly seeing this pop up. See attached screenshot.
