My upcoming price increase is 50%: $70 to $105. Nobody will be too happy if this is the way the new corporation treats long time EverNote customers.

No "problem" that I see either. And yes, the merge function works but constrains the user's ability to sort the selected notes within the merged note. The "request" is to alter the merge order (as many apps and programs allow) to suit the user need rather than the current multiple necessary, time-consuming workarounds.

Merge on order selected makes the most sense to me, then your merged note should look like you need it to. Better yet, make the merged note editable...reorder combined notes after merge. It would make the merge feature SO much better and productive.

So now we're in 2020...still a frustration to merge notes in a desired order on a Mac OS...
