About mqheel

  1. A must have. Bear allows multiple exports - Markdown, HTML, PDF, RTF, Word, JPG. Evernote is really behind the times here. Need to allow easy export in a variety of formats.
  2. Completely agree and one of the reasons I've been trying other note taking services. Evernote used to plug into different desktop email clients many moons ago and let me leverage my full Exchange Global Address List to email vs just the contacts on my desktop (my corporate spam filters also puts emails from Evernote service in Junk Mail). One Note and programs like Notability make it much easier to email notes and attachments using your preferred email program on the desktop. You can also change the note to RTF or PDF before sending. Huge flaw with Evernote IMO.
  3. I think this highlights a basic issue I've seen raised before and why I have to use OneNote for business...inserting Evernote notes directly into Outlook email vs sharing a public link, which doesn't work for many businesses. Evernote used to allow me to attach notes directly into Outlook emails in a nice format (clear it was an Evernote note so I actually got others to sign up - a perk for Evernote). Then they discontinued for some reason, which wasn't clear to me. Does the SDK still support this? Maybe someone could develop a product around this.
  4. I've given up on the email feature. Never reaches my co-workers. Much better when it would open a message in Microsoft Outlook saying it was an Evernote note. No idea why they turned off this feature in the latest release. I've stopped using Evernote as a result.
