  1. And another weird situation… Created a note with some text and a picture. When I return to the note, it’s completely empty! But, in the notes navigation pane on the left, you can still see a thumbnail of the picture I inserted in the note. This happens on my iPad with the latest EN version installed, but the web version looks identical. There is no other version of the note than the current one. So again, I lost notes. Evernote turns to be completely unreliable for me this week, just when I needed it to take notes during a conference visit…. Luckily enough, it’s not that expensive… Oh, wait a minute, they just almost doubled the price I pay each month. If this is what I get for twice the money, I will quickly move to an alternative…

  2. Totally agree that the price increase that Evernote is now implementing (for me 88%!!!) is out of all proportion... $ 14.99 for a note-taking service, I also find absurdly expensive compared to the less than $7 you spend for Office 365 incl. 1 TB of storage. And all the features Evernote is adding lately (task management, AI, etc.), I don't need at all. Unfortunately, I have so many notes and documents in Evernote that I can't easily switch to e.g. OneNote. In addition, I find the simplicity that Evernote offers for note taking and the powerful search functionality, in OneNote a lot less. So unfortunately, I'm afraid I'll just have to pay more. But I do think that Evernote is going to drive away a lot of users with their overpricing....

  3. I use Evernote a lot on my desktop PC to prepare holiday trips. I do a lot of researching in Chrome and/or Edge and then take notes in Evernote. Hence I switch a lot between browser and Evernote. That's when I often run into Evernote not responding. There is no blinking cursor, I cannot scroll inside the active note. Mostly only for a few seconds, but sometimes it takes up to a minute before Evernote starts responding again. Note that this is an intermittent problem, as I am typing this, I try to reproduce the issue, but now of course Evernote behaves as it should... Also note that the problem occurs on my desktop, on my work laptop running the same version of Windows and also using Chrome and Edge, I never have this issue. When the issue occurs, closing Evernote helps for a while. I already tried removing Evernote and reinstalling the latest version, without success.

My desktop PC is a powerful workstation running the latest and up-to-date version of Windows 11, it has an 8-core i9 processor, 64 GB of RAM and multiple NVMe m.2 SSDs. All other applications are running fine and when the issue occurs, there is nothing weird going on in the system like extreme resource usage.

Any suggestions on making Evernote work correctly?
