  1. Aye, seven pages was a slog. It's probably not a coincidence that the higher the post count, the more nonsense is spouted.
  2. What was wrong with the software 12 months ago and why the need to constantly mess with things?
  3. Apparently a Java issue for anyone else affected.
  4. Support are struggling to explain this. Online shows 2320 notes and Windows 10 Desktop shows 2330, ten more. And installing EN on a brand spanking new OS install downloads as 2330, the higher number. Any ideas why the discrepancy? Thanks Ian
  5. The submit button and chat box are also dead in Opera but has worked in Firefox. Please fix for Chrome. Also, could someone let me know where I can find tech submit request form via the main EN Contact page instead of searching G. Thanks
  6. I had to search G for the tech contact form (as it is nowhere on the Contact Us page) https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=176617 The chat box on this page is all white space with nowhere to type and on the submit request form, even when all fields are completed, the submit button is dead. I'm using latest Chrome. Any help appreciated. Thanks
  7. You're absolutely right Alan. How is that they can't just get the fundamentals working without constant problems on Evernote for Windows - which surely is their flagship OS? Note Taking, Editor (with bg highlighter), Formatting, Printing (by page number), Syncing to server without conflicts, Web Clips. That's all I want in a note taking app. I'm not bothered about chatting, sharing, making chilli con carne - please just let me take sodding notes securely! And relax...
  8. So after 15 pages have we agreed that OneNote is the best EN alternative for Windows? Bit of a disappointing result if so. I think I'll end up building my own simple note taking app which actually prints by number of pages, and at the size as on the page and not HUGE! These 2 things really do my head in! And I forgot underlines appear more like a strikethrough. Word actually does all 3 without any issues, maybe that's where I should go - back to basics. Can I really go back to OneNote, 4 years after leaving?
  9. Agree, task bar option required. This is basic usability and they overlook it.
