Thanks for the advice. I've changed the thread title. -
mac (Archived) Remember Last Opened Note/Multiple Sort Settings
JohnDoe posted a topic in Mac Archives
Remember last opened note: When opening the Evernote application, I'd like to be able to see my last opened note. Currently, the application only remembers the last opened notebook (and automatically opens the first note in that notebook). Multiple sort settings: I'd like to be able to customize the sort setting for each individual notebook. Currently, choosing a particular sort setting will apply to all notebooks. -
I've changed a bunch of my notes' dates of creation using the Mac desktop application, but when viewing them through the online service or the iOS app the changed dates are not updated. In other words, my notes in the Evernote desktop application are rearranged differently from the notes on my iOS and online Evernote applications. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm having a hard time trying to use the clipping feature from the Menu Bar. Whenever I click "Clip Rectangle or Window to Evernote" I'm not able to move the cross hairs. It lags and freezes in place. Is there a fix for this?

First off, let me say that I've only recently started using Evernote and it has now become my favorite Mac application of all time (that's right). So here's my lofty request: the ability to drag notes to the dock so that we can have "quick" access to them. I normally use TextEdit to type up notes and drag these text files to my dock. But I'm thinking moving all my notes from TextEdit to Evernote. It would be great if I can just click on a note on the dock, instead of launching Evernote, scrolling through notebooks, and then clicking the right note every time. I'm totally unfamiliar with the process of app making so excuse me if this request is completely impossible or unviable...

Sorry to bump this thread, but I'd like to add my vote for this feature too. It's pretty annoying to have to open the fonts window in order to do such a simple thing.

Ah, I see. That's too bad!

It's been five days now since I uploaded the PDFs, and I'm still not able to search through them. Does it usually take this long?

I see, thanks! BTW, I have to click sync to enable this, right?

Okay, I know this has been asked many times before, but I still don't know the answer. Basically, I want to know how to search through Command-F) a PDF image file. Yesterday, I uploaded a file, tried to search a word in it, and was astonished to find that I could actually do it. I moved that file to the trash (it was the wrong file), uploaded another PDF image file and found out I couldn't search through the PDF anymore. What am I doing wrong? P.S. - I don't have a premium account.
