I would happily pay £20 a year for evernote, but when all these subscriptions for things start at £8pm and increase every year, I cannot afford to pay it because all these subscriptions add up. e.g. your own domain or permanent email address with mail.com £20 a year 100gb of google storage £20 a year so why so much money for evernote ? Is it not better to have 200 million people paying £1.50 a month, than the alternative of losing them?

I tried one more time - same thing, then I restarted chrome and clipped it again, this time they all then showed up! Strange behaviour indeed. Thanks agsteele for testing and confirming that it was just me affected.

It's still not working an hour later- the web clips just show as blank with no info - if I search on the title it finds the title - but you cannot bring the article up - it doesn't exist.

Nothing I clip is actually storing in evernote today. It reports it has done it, but when I click view it in evernote web - it is not actually there. Anyone else getting this problem oday ?

Sorry my apologies, Thank you for your reply PinkElephant. I did not get an email to say that you had replied - I was having the same problems as the OP, I wasn't posting for fun, but I am please to report that I have had no further issues with the selection option being missing in the web clipper in chrome - I am beginning to think that it was just related to that 1 particular web page, but even that page now clips with selection correctly. I am pleased to say that lately there has been a lot of bug fixing and improvements going on in evernote. I have taken the time to go back and update some topics where they have been fixed in case people are subscribed to them.

I am so pleased to see that after 6 years this facility is back in the new web version of evernote, front and centre at the top right hand of your note. They suddenly seem to be listening to their users again and fixing the things that they have left broken in the past. Thanks Evernote team!

every time evernote update something it is for the worse, please re-instate this functionality.

Well here we are in 2020 @Nancy is that next release ready yet ? in the "new" interface to go to the hyperlink of notes that were added using the web clipper it now takes 5 steps : Click the 3 dots in the top right Click note info Click in the url field Press control A to select the whole link then right click to select the option to go to that link on the previous version it is just displayed in the top right hand corner and you can click on it! Hey that is so much easier isn't it NOT!!!! Come on evernote - do you note read what your users are saying any more ?

It works fine in chrome if you are using the "new web interface" (the one with the black background on the left hand menu). It doesn't work in the older interface. So 5 years on since the introduction of the new interface and this is still not fixed!!!!!!!!! Come on evernote team, you have to be kidding me. This is a really important feature that you have taken away. Please put it back.
