  1. @Enderend The split screen editing is not a new addition from version 3.4. This editor is used only when the note cannot be fully edited with the usual note editor. For instance, when your note contains unsupported styling such as tables. However, we've slightly changed the rules concerning indented lists. They used to be automatically flattened so the note can be edited within the full editor, but some users complained because it changed the styling without notice. Notes with indented lists are now considered as unsupported but still edit-able with the split-screen editor. So, in my opinion, it is possible that the notes you tried to edit contained indented lists and that's why you experienced this editor. Most of your notes should be still edit-able the same way as before. Please let us know if that's not the case and submit a ticket to the customer support so we investigate if there is an issue. Thanks.
  2. Hi All, We've just published a new update for Android, version 3.5 beta1 (revision 214993). new in this update, save and continue: save a note and stay in editing mode. Edit longer notes and never lose any data. the feature is available in the note composer (no grey bar on the tap on bottom) next to the "done" button (save and close) you will find a save button, tap it to save your content. if Evernote is paused or interrupted, the note will be automatically saved. A few known issues remain and we are working on it: - Attachment can be lost when a conflict occur (editing the same note at the same time on two different devices). - Saving while a word is autocorrected blocks the text focus. Please give it a try and let us know if you have any issue. http://s.evernote.com/androidpreview Thank you and happy new year! Xavier
  3. Thanks for the feedback. Did you expect every bullet to change to a checkbox (checkbox as a kind of bullet) or a checkbox to be added after the current bullet on the same line?
  4. I understand your request, but we don't provide ETA. I can only confirm that this is in our list.
  5. Thanks for the feedback. I agree that this can be inconvenient and a system to simplify the formatting is on our wish list. In the meantime, I would recommend to use only the stylings you can create on your phone to make sure it will use the note composer. That includes: - in line pictures and attachments - indented lists
  6. The recycle bin is not accessible on Android for the moment. I would recommend to use the desktop client as a work around.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion, we will see what we can do. In the meantime, you can use the shortcuts to a note: - long tap on a note from the list view, select "create shortcut". - It will create a 1x1 icon on the homescreen, and it will use the picture in the note if there is any.
  8. Thanks for the suggestion. This feature request is on my wish list.
  9. This is not supported yet on mobile, the file management system is different on each platform. This request is on our wish list.
  10. Thanks for reporting the issue. We will evaluate what we can do to fix that.
  11. I like the idea, we will see what we can do. Thanks for the suggestion.
  12. We fixed this issue in the last release (3.4.1). Notes containing indented list will be editable with the "element editor" which enables you to edit the text on each bullet and preserves your styling. Supporting the editing and the creation of indented list in the note editor is on the wish list but need further technical investigation.
  13. Hi, Is your list indented (tabs)? We changed the editing of indented list because the note editor flattened it and people complained about losing this formatting. This styling is now preserved, and you can still edit the content of each bullet, but adding new bullets is no longer possible. A work around is to use bullet lists with only one level for the moment. Editing indented list is on the wish list but need further technical investigation.

  16. Thanks for the feedback: this is already on my wish list.
  17. We haven't removed Evernote from the distribution in China. This is managed by the Android Market. We are currently working on a solution but in the meantime you can still download Evernote on Alternative App stores or get the latest beta release here: http://s.evernote.com/androidpreview
  18. Thanks for the suggestion. In the meantime, have you tried to use Evernote widget so you can capture a snapshot in one tap from the homescreen and it is directly saved in Evernote? https://market.android.com/details?id=com.evernote.widget
  19. Indented lists are not implemented on the Android version of Evernote, it is on our wish list though. We are aware of the issue with this styling being flattened whenever the note is edited on the phone. We will restrict the editing of those note and use the "element editor" (that you can recognise with its grey line and 3 dots) so you won't lose this formatting anymore.
  20. Do you have the issue with any emails or only a distribution list? If the issue remains, I would suggest to open a ticket: https://www.evernote...ontact/support/
  21. Hi all, We worked hard to get it fixed in the afternoon and, as it's been noticed, it is now solved. We hope that everything is back to normal for you now.
