  1. There are 2 separate settings for Related results. 1) Related results - show related results when you search the web = this controls the widget on Google search pages. 2) After clip - 3 options on how the dialog displays. Pick the one without Related results. URL is always saved as note data. Different Evernote clients show the URL in different places. Hope that helps.
  2. You should try installing version 6.1 available here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/evernote-web-clipper/versions/that should take care of the problem.
  3. Typically this happens after you update OSX or Safari and a system restart usually takes care of it. Also check this setting that Safari frequently change when you've updated Safari. https://www.evernote.com/l/AAw98_uhg8RJtpGAUscwg4eXJo2vcCwZtls
  4. There's no download location for legacy versions of the Web Clipper. Web Clipper version 6.6 should work on Safari 6 and up. I don't think your OS version matters much but I cannot say for sure since we no longer test on it.
  5. If you update to version 6.1from here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/evernote-web-clipper/versions/that issue will go away.
  6. Yes it's possible. On Mac you right click the screenshot image with annotations on and select 'Annotate this image' similar steps on Windows.
  7. Clipped webpages are permanently saved and independent of what happens to the source webpage.
  8. Bug fixes to Outlook Clipper are coming in the next Windows update. I'll post back here once it gets available as a beta update.
  9. Web Clipper 6.6 is the latest release. Safari 5 & 10.6.8 are no longer supported so I recommend getting more recent updates installed. Can't really explain why it disappeared though.
  10. To clip the URL only you should choose the 'Bookmark' option.
  11. Thx LAX for the report. We're investigating this, I'll report back here when we have more info.
  12. @Bug - based on your description you are using the Share extension from Evernote. The Web Clipper is a browser extension installed separately from www.evernote.com/webclipper Please confirm if you are 100% you have this product installed in Safari, it will add a button to Safari's toolbar.
  13. If you try to clip the entire newsfeed you are unlikely to succeed. The best advice I have is to open the individual post you want to clip (f.a.e by clicking on the timestamp of the post) and then start the clipper and clip ass 'full page'. Works fine in our testing on Safari 8.0.8
  14. Go to the Web Clippers options page and disable 'Show related notes when I search the web' or click on the X icon in the right pane when the notes are showing and choose dismiss forever.
  15. Latest Chrome stable fixes the issue. Check for updates and make sure yo get 45.0.2454.93 or higher.
  16. Thanks for the report. Safari Web Clipper works fine in our testing so I'd like to get some more info from you: - OS and Safari version numbers. - Web Clipper version number. - What URL(s) it fails to start on ( a few samples where this happens to you) Things to try: - Restart Safari - Restart your computer (if updates have installed it sometimes helps to restart the system) - Clear cache in Safari > Clear history and website data - Check Adblock & Popup settings in both Safari and any other extension you might have. Sometimes they change and all of a sudden are blocking the Web Clipper UI from loading. Let me know if anything helps.
  17. This is a bug in Chrome 45. It's been fixed in Chrome 46 beta. More info here https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/88201-bug-en-chrome-clipper-mac-clipping-wrong-page/
  18. Chrome Beta 46 now has the fix applied so if you are affected and depending on the Web Clipper I can recommend using beta channel for now.
  19. Bug in Chrome 45, but it has been fixed in Chrome Beta 46. You can either update to beta or wait until the fix gets to stable Chrome.
20. There are new options in the Web Clippers options page to set what happens after the clip is uploaded. You can see related notes & sharing , not see related notes but sharing options or automatically close the clipper.
  21. Check your settings on the Web Clipper options page. Make sure 'Always start in' is set to something that fits your needs.
  22. Here's what we know: The reason why it’s not always reproducible is because it depends on how you spawn the second tab - If you just right-click a link and click on “open in new tab”, it will not reproduce because that creates the second tab in a separate process from the main tab. - But if you clicked on a link that was written to open in a new tab/window/popup, the second tab is opened as part of the same process as the main tab, and it will reproduce. - Or if your settings is set to open every link click in a new tab (vs the default of opening in the same tab), it will reproduce.
  23. Hi all, This is most likely a bug in Chrome 45 (stable channel) and 46 (beta channel). Here's the bug report on their side: https://code.google....etail?id=520303. According to the report, it is already fixed in Chrome 47 (canary channel) and will be available in 46 tomorrow (September 9). No word yet on when it will be available in 45. Unfortunately we cannot fix this client side so affected users will have to wait until Chrome pushes out an update.
