  1. Having multiple levels of notebooks seems contrary to Evernote's ethos and has been discussed many many times on here. I think it is extremely unlikely that it will ever be implemented.
  2. It's interesting, he's talking about providing Evernote as a service to Enterprises not as Enterprise software - so no appliances, no self hosting. But, I'm guessing billing options, some more sharing and maybe some admin type tools for centralised management of accounts. I deal with some very large US enterprises, in most Evernote is blocked by the firewall, in others it isn't blocked but is very frowned upon. Convincing IT and legal that Evernote servers are a safe place to keep corporate data is going to take more than the realisation that "normal enterprise software is crappy and unappealing", which by the way as a generalisation is pretty dumb.
  3. I guess that they acknowledged your request so they are aware of it. Given the relatively small number of users that I think would find this useful, I'm guessing that it is pretty unlikely that it will be implemented. Evernote staff do read pretty much every post on here, although they don't reply to all so you can be sure that it has been seen. Dlu or gbarry may even thank you for the suggestion....
  4. No, it's been discussed before - the forum search is your friend.
  5. It's a good start, but it needs a big stick.
  6. To Dos with bells and whistles? Or maybe Phil is going to come over and do my next 2 hours of boring conference calls for me? A Phil Do App so to speak.
  7. i don't think they are moving towards any sort of GTD(ish) implementation - they are adding a due date....big gap from there to GTD. If I see a bunch of new users adding +1s to this thread I will assume that BnF is manufacturing a demand that will cause my certain and painful death.
  8. I will post a video of me eating a Brussels Sprout (the most poisonous substance known to man) if Evernote implement mind mapping in the next 3 years.
  9. This isn't currently available, easiest thing is to right click on the image, open in Preview, resize, save and then you are good to go.
  10. Search the forum and you will see that Evernote have said that they are not going to build a Linux client. They have an API for the service and so you are free to write your own if you are so inclined...
  11. Have a search around the forum, Evernote have said a few times that they will not be developing a native Linux client. (Edit) Damn your fast fingers BnF
  12. Search the forum and you will see that Evernote have made it pretty clear that they will not be building a Linux client.
  13. In the end I think you have to accept that Evernote are not going to implement a deeper hierarchy than Stacks and Notebooks. They have been very very clear about this. If this design doesn't work for you, well then maybe Evernote is not the right application for you.
  14. It's Evernote's job to decide which platforms they want their app to run on. They've decided that Linux isn't one of them.
  15. I'm guessing that the relatively small number of potential users makes it not the greatest business sense to build and maintain a separate client for LInux.
  16. No suggestion that there is a plan for a Linux client.
  17. It's in your Trash, you can get it from there. When you go to empty your Trash there is a warning.
  18. Interestingly, I'm currently working on some software for a multi-national, multi-billion dollar enterprise customer that is completely tag driven.
  19. I guess that they have made a design choice and for the time being this feature is not supported. Of course, in future it might be implemented...... Seems like a fairly small use case to me, so breath holding may not be the best suggestion.
