  1. There's definitely something buggy happening here. I see similar behaviour. Google is a rabbit hole on here, but have you replaced your battery? Seems like some replacement batteries do not play happily with some of the browser renderers. I was able to confirm this by switching off hardware acceleration on the Opera browser where I was seeing similar behaviour to Evernote. Unfortunately, they've removed this setting from Evernote.
  2. And killing it and starting again doesn't fix it. Frustrating...
  3. Hey Gaz - I haven't but I don't think it's a data thing. Was seeing similar behaviour with Opera and disabling hardware acceleration fixed it straight away. Will try the kill it with kindness route this week if I have time, just in case.
  4. Some further research and playing around with other browsers and I think this may be related to hardware acceleration and a replacement battery in my mac. I know there was a switch to turn off hardware acceleration a little while back and I think this got removed. Is there any way to switch it off in the app anymore?
  5. Running 10.76.2 Feels like screen painting in a note is getting slower and slower. As I scroll through long notes it can often take a couple of seconds to draw the page. This happens even for notes that have been recently loaded. Everything is stored locally so there's no server round trip involved. Anyone else seeing anything similar? Any easy solutions?
  6. I opened a ticket for this, the instructions I received that resolved the problem were: For what it's worth, I didn't reboot my mac and I did remove downloaded data when I signed out so I had to download everything again.
  7. Datadog is a very widely used observability platform - by default they mask all PII.
  8. Initial feedback is that there should be a more obvious way of rejecting the changes rather than undo. And maybe some feedback when a note can't be AI'd - why can't it be? That way I'll know not to try and use it with certain notes that don't meet the criteria.
  9. This is really great information, it would of been useful to know about the potential for delay caused by number 1 in advance - I might not have done a clean installation over the weekend...
  10. First time only and it's really sloooow sometimes and quicker others. Once they are cached it's fine but the initial load can be very very sluggish.
  11. Not exporting so I don't think that's it. Fast editing is lovely but no good if notes take ages to load...
  12. @Federico Simionato - I'm seeing pretty bad delays loading notes, this only happens the first time I load the note - is there a fresh download/caching process happening in the background? Update..logging out and allowing the app to delete the data and then logging back in seems to have resolved this. Update 2....Not fixed, laggy as hell again loading notes.
  13. Not encrypted on a mac, you should be using FileVault or whatever MS provide to encrypt your drive to protect all of your files.
  14. Forwarded an email to my evernote account yesterday (my sync had already been upgraded). The note didn't appear in my default notebook for some time - I eventually gave up and restarted the app. Restart hung for a couple of minutes so I got bored and killed it. App started fine on the second attempt, but the new note was still not present in my default notebook. Changed to a different notebook and then returned to default and the note appeared. Running the latest mac client.
  15. I didn't promise it was perfect, the OP asked for a solution to an issue and I provided an option, it's also pretty clear if a link has been added in error and just as easy to unlink again. User error can ***** up lots of things across lots of applications.
  16. Or just right click and select unlink (on a mac at least)
  17. me too and the stickers and a few other freebies. Still, I'd rather have what I think we have now, an app that works with a focused management.
  18. I think even Libin admits that Evernote lost it's way under his leadership, if he'd stayed the company would probably have disappeared.
  19. I mean that's obviously way too long to read but I'm very happy that @jefitois still alive!!!
  20. And you are so wrong, horribly so. You can take advantage of all the great stuff that Evernote does and still be responsible for your own data. You can still back up as often as you like. Be a grown up, take responsibility. Why is this even an argument?
