Log out of the app, log back in.
    Restart the phone.

It didn't work for me, but now I have the next problem.
After the restart, an Evernote update to 10.84.2 was installed and now ALL of my OFFLINE notebooks are gone.
It took SEVERAL days to sync these last time!!
    Now I'm getting really pissed!!!!
I haven't found so many massive errors in ONE piece of software for a long time!!

Can you still manage it, Evernote people, or do we really have to look for alternatives?

You would AFAIK get the same result when exporting from the app itself.

That's not true, because THAT'S EXACTLY what I tested and described in the thread above, sorry if that wasn't clearly stated!
    * Exported from Evernote -> All reminders are imported again!
    * Exported with the tool from GitHub -> all reminders empty "kein Datum" , see screenshot!

Um eine stabile Sicherung zu machen MUSS man alles händisch exportieren!

The best option would be for Evernote to deliver a one click backup solution where selected or all notebooks could be exported.

Yes, a one-click solution to export all notebooks would be the best idea!!!
Then we wouldn't need any external additional programs!

And sorry for the contradiction, but a lot of things have a memory in my Evernote and if I can't restore them, then a backup is unfortunately useless FOR ME.

This doesn't have to apply to other users, just to be clear 😉

  4. I have now done further tests and have come to the following conclusion:
1.) the behavior described by you @Razmataz is correct, I overlooked the import thing!!
Thanks for this hint, so you can decide how you want it 😉

2.) Importing from the backup project results in MISSING reminders. No matter which import variant you use!!

3.) You can see that there was a memory, but it is EMPTY, as you can see in the screenshot.

Conclusion: The backup software is quite nice, but if, you have a lot of memories, it's rather useless!!

So i am looking for another solution for automated exporting for externam backup .....

  5. I looked at the backup project here

    https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup

and since my forced switch zu Evernote 10 I have been using this software for my backup.
It was also perfectly automated, so I really liked it!

Now I had the need to do a restore by importing one of the created .ENEX files into Evernote V10.

I gained the following important insights, which I would like to share with you here

1.) The opened ENEX file is NOT imported with the name that the file has, but is inserted into the "standard notebook". So far no problem...

2.) NONE of the originally set alarms are imported. I had entered “notifications” for several data sets in the test notebook, but they had all disappeared, which is extremely problematic!!

3.) If you export a notebook manually and then import it back into Evernote, all the alarms are there, so in my opinion it could only be an error in the export tool

4.) The last update on the manufacturer's websiteit's been some time, so I'm afraid that there won't be any particular motivation for further development.
That's why I'm now looking for a better way than regularly exporting the notebooks MANUALLY

Am I possibly doing something wrong?
If so, do you have a tip for me?

If not, this backup concept is no longer useful for me because ESSENTIAL data is lost during a restore!!

  6. I have been an Evernote customer for over 10 years and have now found a workaround for many of the shortcomings!

I reported the rest to support! Due to the lack of support, I am always open to a better program. Once I find it, I'll be gone too...

Evernote's original goal was to provide its customers with optimal access to MY data.

I still hope they find their way back there!

For me there is nothing more to say here!

  7. During the last few years when the legacy version was available, I tried again and again to give the V10 a chance.
Unfortunately, the desired reliability that I was used to from the legacy version was never present in the V10.
Like @enfan-01 , I also invested many hours in finding errors, reporting them and regaining the reliability that I am used to, which unfortunately has not yet been 100% successful.
The Android version in particular is FAR away from the usual reliability!!

But I also see a lot of improved features in the V10 and that gives me hope 😉
I advise you to report any errors you find as best as possible so that we give Evernote the opportunity to fix them as quickly as possible!!

  8. Thanks @PinkElephant for the tip!

I just tried this and within 1-2 hours the notebooks with around 300 entries were synchronized.
    Slow but worked.....
So I can now try to work offline with some notebooks, THANK YOU!!!

Now I'll sync another one with around 2000 entries and then I hope that the "offline function" runs stably!
That would be the first advantage compared to the legacy version on Android 😉

I'm still hoping for an improvement in speed for the Android version too ....

  9. Since the excellently functioning legacy version was discontinued, I've been struggling with the half-finished V10 on my Galaxy S22!

I have set up 3 notebooks for offline sync and have been waiting for SEVERAL days for them to come completely offline.
    Unfortunately so far without success!
These 3 notebooks have a total of just 300 entries, so nothing that should take that long

Does anyone else have this problem besides me?
If yes, how did you solve it?

Android does have a Sync button (botto of the settings menu). If Windows and the web are the same then the data is clearly getting to the server ok

Thanks, I overlooked this function until now!
After calling it up, I see confirmation that everything has been synced.
Unfortunately, the filter of my shopping list still shows 2 fewer data records than I see in the WEB version
Strangely enough, it has also no effect on my offline notebooks, because they haven't been synced yet since I reinstalled them yesterday! Very strange?

That was also the reason why I used the legacy version until now, everything was perfect there!
I'm starting to get desperate because the way things are going now I can no longer rely on Evernote ;-(

    This is a user forum.

If you want to open a ticket, do so. Nothing will happen by itself.

It can be that it takes little for the search index to update. We had reports of in between 30 minutes and an hour. If the tags were added just now, it may be it is resolved when you read this.

    Thanks for this hint!
That's a shame, because it worked much faster with the legacy version.
There was also the option to synchronize manually if I wanted to speed up the process.

What do I have to do with V10.x if I don't want to wait 30 minutes or longer??
Is there also a function here for “manual” synchronization as long as this error exists?

  12. I have records with a specific keyword as a saved filter in my favorites.
This filter has always worked perfectly in the legacy version!
To rule out an error imported from the old version, I also tried to recreate the filter in Evernote 10, but that didn't help ;-(

Unfortunately, the selection is often incorrect! For example, 5 data sets are displayed on the PC in Evernote for Windows, but only 3 data sets are displayed on the Android.
I can also see the missing records on Android and also see that the keywords are correctly selected, but they are still NOT displayed in the saved search favorites.
The filter only has ONE keyword and no other selection (see attached).

The error is extremely restrictive for me because I rely on this CORRECTLY filtered data when I'm on the go.
How can you determine the error here?

  13. Since installing the current version, I no longer see alerts from Evernote on my Androis S22.

I have activated Evernote in the app notifications on Android (see attachment) and I still don't get any notifications from Evernote on my phone or smartwatch.
Other notifications come, so I suspect a setting somewhere in Evernote is the reason!
Does anyone have a tip where I can activate the settings or what I'm missing?
