Just throwing in my voice to this discussion to say, I also would really like if the manual sync button was returned. I often write notes on my the Android app of Evernote, then when I sit down to my desktop and open the desktop app (also Windows version), the note does not appear. I've tried waiting a while to see if it would eventually sync up, but it won't show up no matter how many minutes or even hours pass, until I close the desktop app fully and stop the process using task manager. If I don't fully close Evernote, it simply does not sync. Can we please get the manual sync button back? It's pretty clear the "auto sync" just isn't cutting it.
