I agree with lionx
because it allows me to find things very fast. And internal shortcuts.
I never annotate pictures, and am not a big fan of Home, but I might give it a second thought after the comments here.
I have submitted so many support tickets for problems with bullets, since 2021. My issue is that when you paste from another application (e.g. Word) , text that is a combination of normal text and bullets, when it appears in Evernote, it shifts the text so all the bulleted text appear after the non-bulleted text.
I am just not sure of an alternative. PC, like E-mail notes, depend on web clipper, need tags. Need searching within attachments (which OneNote does not do). Need to import about 16,000 notes.
No need for calendar integration, no need for Tasks.
I know everyone is raving about the new Evernote 10 interface, but now it is even more clicks to highlight something. I know the Android was this way (which is why I tried to keep them on v6 since I usually read with my Android tablet), but now disappointed that the Windows version is this way. So many more clicks to highlight.
Evernote's new features are just slowing me and slowing me down. I think others have mentioned at length how Evernote v10 is slower, and how it takes longer to take and move notebooks.
I'm getting the same error. I tried signing out of Evernote gmail, but I have not tried signing out of gmail. I don't like to forward emails to evernote as it messes up the graphics.
Clipper encountered an error

This is awful news. Android doesnt work for me at all. Can't search for things properly.
Also, on my work PC, Evernote 10 doesnt work well. I've sent Frederico so many suggestions, but no progress.
I need to make time to find a replacement.
But, Evernote 6.25 had no problem on my work computer without local admin rights, and v10 does have problems. That just seems like something Evernote would know about or want to address.
