I just spent a good amount of time thinking I'd lost some information because I couldn't locate it in Spotlight. It turns out that the item I was looking for was in an Evernote note, and that content just isn't being found by Spotlight any more. This had been working for me previously, not sure when it stopped. In any case, I'm on the direct download version of Evernote, v.10.9.10, on macOS Mojave 10.14.6. I don't see an .mdimporter plug-in for Evernote in the mdimport -L list, nor do I see any evidence of such a plug-in in the app package or in Evernote's Application Support folder.
