  1. I'm using the latest web clipper for safari (v6.5.1), and it keeps trying to synch forever. I see reports of this same problem going back to versions from early 2013. Has anyone figured out a workaround (aside from not using the damn web clipper)?
  2. Just thought I'd provide a glaring example. I'm a food writer, and have been recommending Evernote to users for storing scans of frequently referred to takeout menus. It really works quite well. See this article, with demo pictures: http://jimleff.blogspot.com/2012/08/evernote-for-takeout-menus.html But folks keep asking me why each menu in index view is conspicuously marked "SATURDAY". Well....that's the day I scanned 'em in. And you can't change the display. So it's, like, "Bob's Pizza SATURDAY". It'd be great (and handy) if it could be, like, "Bob's Pizza (Brooklyn)", but, hey, space is at a premium...cuz we've just gotta fit that "SATURDAY", irrelevant and confusing though it is!
  3. How does one submit a feature suggestion? I can imagine many scenarios where you'd want to be able to choose later!
  4. Hmm.....but the notebooks on my iphone show full data even when the phone's in airplane mode (all comms shut off).
  5. I'm thinking of going paperless office. But I don't want/can't fit years of utility bills and such on my iPhone, just on my desktop. Is there (or might there one day be) a way to set given notebooks not to synch with my portable devices?
  6. Ok, let me rephrase that: may I suggest that, in a future version, Evernote allows us to hide creation date info in notebook index view? Only because it takes up a good amount of room in the index, and is not always useful info.
  7. Is there a way to have a given note (or notebook of notes) not show creation date info in the notebook index view? There are notebooks where I don't ever need to see this info, but it takes up an awful lot of screen real estate (along with name and tags). Thanks!
  8. Hi, guys Brand new Evernote user here, and confused by one thing. Prizmo is an OCR program, currently on 50% off sale at Macupdate. It proudly announces it's Evernote compatibility. And Evernote recommends Prizmo, here: http://www.evernote.com/about/trunk/items/prizmo?lang=en&layout=default&source=mobile_page But I thought Evernote did OCR? So isn't this redundant?
