I'm completely burnt out on these all-too-common annoying pop-ups about updating when I am just trying to use this note taking software. At the very least PLEASE give us the option to disable the annoying pop up, or perhaps a checkbox "don't remind me for 14 days, or don't remind me for this version or ANYTHING to help with this. Evernote is literally the only software with 2003ish style pop-up annoyingness that can't be controlled. Perhaps moving the notification somewhere else? Anything other than a "forced" pop up. PLEASE it's so maddening I'm just trying to take a note not install updates or dismiss pop ups all the time.

I wouldn't mind this if it was occasional, but the frequency of this nag screens is way out of bounds. If you want to force updates, do it in the background, otherwise please don't nag users constantly or at least give them control over it.
