I couldn't agree more. The new version is literally unusable for me as 'pop out' notes will not load at all, meaning I have to write directly onto the main screen all the time. I have downloaded 'Evernote Legacy' which has re-launched the old version which always worked fine. I would recommend doing this until they address the bugs.
