  1. @GHain you may have better luck if you follow the official uninstall instructions here:
  2. I hate to break it to you, but you're posting this in the wrong group - you're looking for the iOS group, not the macOS one.
  3. On my work iMac running OS X 10.11.6, Evernote shows the 'classic' notebook layout, no matter if the box is checked or unchecked. Yes, I've restarted Evernote after checking the box.
  4. There is a switch in OneNote for Mac that lets you try 'experimental features' — but the opening and closing of the notebooks is positively glacial.
  5. You can quote me on this: If you think Evernote is slow, or unresponsive - go ahead and load OneNote up with a few thousand notes and see what happens next.
  6. Howdy, my name is macfixer, and I have a confession: I left Evernote for a while, but then saw how bad it was and wanted to bring my stuff back. Why is there a Evernote to OneNote converter, but no OneNote to Evernote converter? It seems you're allowing your competitors to eat your lunch but letting people leave but not come back into the fold. In the meantime, I will be copying and pasting notes one by one back. (Yes, I know that OneNote and Apple Notes don't have export functions)
  7. Hold up — I didn't see you actually wrote "cmd-ctrl-v" (not sure what that does). Pasting it that way crashed my Evernote. So, ignore my earlier comment
  8. Works on my end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Might be a bad PDF?
  9. Grab the edge of the shortcut bar and drag it to the right…
  10. Couldn't you make a stack of notebooks? For example, one stack for the Anderson Project, one for Home, one for commuting?
  11. The sidebar issues (reappearing "Upgrade Your Team", amongst others) remain in the 6.8 release.
  12. Unfortunately, Evernote doesn't use it's own autocorrect - it's piggybacking on OS X's own autocorrect system. To switch it off, look for it in Apple's System Preferences:
  13. Every time I launch 6.8 b2 the "Upgrade Your Team" item returns to the sidebar.
  14. I think (just spitballing here) it's because HockeyRink is cross-platform, which means that they can beta test all different software across different platforms. https://www.hockeyapp.net/features/
  15. Off-topic: I can has Korean Beef Bowl recipe?
  16. This wasn't happening for me in previous builds, because I guess I already had a Premium account. However, when I right-click on "Upgrade Your Team" to hide it, it will pop back up on next launch.
  17. Yes, I meant the old-timey, 'looks kinda like a notebook' view. Of course, Evernote is now behaving itself, so… I'll keep an eye on it.
  18. If you're in the OG "Classic" notebook view, and create a new notebook, you can't dismiss the dialog box, even though the notebook actually gets created. It works just fine in the beta "modern" view.
  19. version 6.7.1 doesn't seem to render Word 2016 docx files properly on my Mac:
  20. I don't know, but if I had to guess, it's probably to split off the necessary resources and keep the regular Evernote binary smaller?
