Thanks for the input which actually got me to solve the problem - at least in part, the additional plugin (which I had) suddenly stopped working one day. When I approached Mailbutler support, they told me it was their problem so I didn't even try to solve... today I played with the configuration and it's working again... This kind of integration with important platforms such as Mail for Mac could be an integration Evernote could offer directly IMO - I find the integration with Mail priceless, an incredible added value

There is a newer Mail plugin that (as of Mojave) still works with Evernote.

I use ScanSnap to scan everything in my life directly to evernote. Up until recently I have been able to double click the pdf, open in preview, delete or rotate single pages as needed, and the pdf saves with changes back to the orginal note. Now it seems I have to create a new file with the changes and it doesn't go back into evernote. Am I missing something or has evernote changed for the worse??

Make sure to not save the PDF anywhere else except in the folder that Evernote creates for it. Otherwise, the changes will not be synced back.

When I control click on the note, and export as a PDF, the 100 or so images, appear in my Mac downloads folder, as a single page PDF, the 100 images are still there but it's really long and thin, since all those images are on a single page PDF.

The images are photos, of my personal notes from my studies, and need to be in the specific order they are in on Evernote and ideally, exported as a multipage PDF from Evernote.

When I first scanned them in using Evernote, I used the Evernote app to scan them in, and rather than scanning as a PDF like the Scannable app when there is more than 1 image, the Evernote app adds the all as images.

I was hoping there would be a simple way to convert this to a multipage PDF?

Currently when I convert the note in Evernote, into a PDF, and click on 'download' on the pdf doc in Evernote, it appears like this on my Mac: see attached screenshot. it appears like this because even though there are 100 images, it's all on a single page PDF, not multipage.

Any ideas how to get this into a multipage PDF? Using Evernote or another app?

I would export the images, then using a purpose-built tool like Acrobat Pro, or PDFpen Pro, create the PDF. This way, you can control the layout, and the level of compression.

    Hi Folks -

We’re making our new Evernote Web experience available for users to try today.

What makes it so shiny and new you ask?

    • We’ve spiffed things up to create more consistent design and interactions across web and other platforms.
    • With the ‘Shared with me’ view, you can now easily see all of the notes and notebooks that have, well, been shared with you.
    • We’ve done some work under the hood to improve search results, so things will now be ordered by relevance instead of date updated.

Coming soon to a web experience near you: You may be missing reminders and a tags view, but don’t worry; we’re adding functionality to this new world as we go, so some of your favorite features are still to come.

    Want in?

    • All you have to do is go to ‘Settings’ and click the ‘Use the new web beta’ link.
    • Give it a spin and then send us any feedback you have by using with ‘Feedback’ button.
    • If the changes aren’t your cup of tea, no worries. You can turn back the clock by navigating to ‘Account’ and clicking on ‘Switch to previous version of Evernote’.

    New Web Experience

I miss the button that creates a new note based on a meeting on my calendar. If you could please add that back — or better still, add it to the Mac version as well ?

Hi... same issue for me. After upgrading to version 7.x.x on my home iMac and iOS devices, all of the images that I had pasted into notes now show up as icons to view or download the image (or empty in the case of iOS). See attached. On my work iMac, which is still on the previous version 6.x.x (thanks Apple Store), the images still show up inline as they should.

BTW -- The images show up as they should on the Evernote Web version and previous version 6.x.x of work iMac. This issue seems to be related to the latest updates for Mac desktop and iOS versions only.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Aaron,

You ought to be able to right-click on those icons and choose "View Inline" to view it… well, inline.

The "Clipper" preferences will allow you to choose that option for all items, if you'd like.

I hope that helps! Let me know if I can be of additional assistance.

    There’s no direct conversion service

You need to look at the export options in OneNote.  Evernote’s native format is based on html, but any file format can be imported as a note attachment

Right now, the only export option from OneNote is as PDFs.

Hmm.  This topic is titled "The Evernote Editor", and is about Evernote's effort to improve the Editor on all platforms:

So, I can't imagine why you are posting here, since you " really don't care at all about editing on Evernote",

I suppose you would be since you never use Evernote to write anything, to edit anything, to create content.

I do hope you realize that Evernote is used by a wide variety of people for a wide variety of tasks, including writing on many levels.  I think that there are many, many users (including myself) who need and expect Evernote to be a good rich text editor, but don't expect it to be word processor.

You seem to have some issues with Evernote search.  Perhaps you would be better served by starting a new topic that is focused on your issues.

    M-M-M-M-MULTI COMMENT COMBOOOO!
