  1. You left out the "make sure you have a copy of the older version, as it isn't guaranteed to be on Evernote's site"
  2. I'll wait — I trashed my local database and re-downloaded it, which seems to have fixed it temporarily.
  3. I am still getting notes that won't render after a sync with 6.11.1:
  4. When the sidebar is collapsed, right-clicking on Trash does not allow me to empty it, when the sidebar is expanded, I can right-click on it to empty it. This appears to be new to the GA release.
  5. Ahh — that's a good question. In the US, our price increase happened a while ago. Depending on how long you've been a Premium customer, your price increase will be held off.
  6. What version of macOS are you running?
  7. …but it's right there in the blog post:
  8. I would not categorize it as silent, but Evernote has been rather vocal about the price increase… https://blog.evernote.com/blog/2016/06/28/changes-to-evernotes-pricing-plans/ …as for the issues with version 6.9, have you tried opening a ticket with Evernote support? As a Premium customer, you would get bumped to the front of the line. If you're on Twitter, you can also reach out to them at @EvernoteHelps.
  9. @GHain you may have better luck if you follow the official uninstall instructions here:
  10. I hate to break it to you, but you're posting this in the wrong group - you're looking for the iOS group, not the macOS one.
  11. On my work iMac running OS X 10.11.6, Evernote shows the 'classic' notebook layout, no matter if the box is checked or unchecked. Yes, I've restarted Evernote after checking the box.
  12. There is a switch in OneNote for Mac that lets you try 'experimental features' — but the opening and closing of the notebooks is positively glacial.
  13. You can quote me on this: If you think Evernote is slow, or unresponsive - go ahead and load OneNote up with a few thousand notes and see what happens next.
  14. Howdy, my name is macfixer, and I have a confession: I left Evernote for a while, but then saw how bad it was and wanted to bring my stuff back. Why is there a Evernote to OneNote converter, but no OneNote to Evernote converter? It seems you're allowing your competitors to eat your lunch but letting people leave but not come back into the fold. In the meantime, I will be copying and pasting notes one by one back. (Yes, I know that OneNote and Apple Notes don't have export functions)
  15. Hold up — I didn't see you actually wrote "cmd-ctrl-v" (not sure what that does). Pasting it that way crashed my Evernote. So, ignore my earlier comment
  16. Works on my end ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Might be a bad PDF?
  17. Grab the edge of the shortcut bar and drag it to the right…
  18. Couldn't you make a stack of notebooks? For example, one stack for the Anderson Project, one for Home, one for commuting?
  19. The sidebar issues (reappearing "Upgrade Your Team", amongst others) remain in the 6.8 release.
  20. Unfortunately, Evernote doesn't use it's own autocorrect - it's piggybacking on OS X's own autocorrect system. To switch it off, look for it in Apple's System Preferences:
  21. Every time I launch 6.8 b2 the "Upgrade Your Team" item returns to the sidebar.
  22. I think (just spitballing here) it's because HockeyRink is cross-platform, which means that they can beta test all different software across different platforms. https://www.hockeyapp.net/features/
