  1. Hello! Today we released Evernote for Windows 10.26.5. This is primarily a bug fix release with a few light improvements. It is available now via the Windows Store and as a direct download version from our website. If you are already running one of these versions, we are progressively rolling out to compatible devices and the new version will be available on all supported operating systems within 7 days. To learn how Evernote delivers app updates, when you’re eligible for an update, and how to update your Evernote app, visit How Evernote delivers app updates to our customers. New to Windows 10.26 We increased the maximum length of a task title from 300 characters to 1000. Your default notebook will now have its own unique icon, so it's easy to spot while you're scrolling through your list. Fixed highlights: We tweaked some things so the app now runs more efficiently, particularly when idle for a while as well as when account switching. This should reduce CPU usage. Let us know what you think and we appreciate the continued feedback. We will keep hard at work! Thank you!

Quickly add files to Evernote on your Mac--right-click and select Evernote from the Share menu to create a new note with your file in it. (If you don't see Evernote in the menu, click More to open System Preferences, make sure it's checked, and drag it to the top of the list.) 4. Hello! Today we are releasing Evernote for Web 10.25. We are progressively rolling out this version. If you do not see it yet, it will be available soon and you do not need to take any action. (to check the web version you are on, click the "Need a little help" menu at bottom left, then click “Release Notes”. New to Web 10.25 Now, assign tasks to others using their email address, even those without an Evernote account. Anyone receiving an assigned task will be able to mark (or unmark) the task as complete, without having to create an account. We're pretty proud of the background images we provided for Home (after all, we took those photos ourselves!). But you might prefer to see more widgets and not have a background image instead. Now the choice is yours when you click Customize. Fixed highlights: If you joined a notebook, left it, then tried to rejoin the same notebook, the app would say it couldn’t find it. But now it should be smooth sailing. Let us know what you think and we appreciate the continued feedback. We will keep hard at work! Thank you!

We are still working on improving this further and will continue to monitor. We saw a reduction in create note performance, which should now be improved. We’ve resolved some sync issues--specifically between desktop and web, as well as some sync issues related to shared notebooks and shared note edits. 7. Hi everyone--improvements to encryption are now available on 10.24. You can now reveal and edit an encrypted block of text without permanently decrypting it first. You can open up the encrypted block, make edits, and also find in note to locate content within the encrypted block before closing. The text will be re-encrypted as soon as you navigate to a different note.

  9. FYI--this should be resolved in the latest release 10.24. Please let us know if you continue to see any reversions on this or later releases.
  10. Hi @Bubblewrap--we believe we have resolved this issue with our latest release v10.24. Can you let me know what version of Evernote you are using on Windows? The version with this issue is 10.23. You can check the version you are currently running under Evernote's "About" menu.
  11. Hello! Today we are releasing Evernote for Web 10.24. We are progressively rolling out this version. If you do not see it yet, it will be available soon and you do not need to take any action. (to check the web version you are on, click the "Need a little help" menu at bottom left, then click “Release Notes”. New to Web 10.24 Search just got smarter. If you're in a notebook or space and click into the search bar, the app will start your search in that notebook or space by default. Fixed highlights: The app would occasionally prevent you from moving notes to another notebook, even if you had access to it. If you merged two or more notes with tasks in them, sometimes the tasks wouldn't appear in the new note. Even if you completed all the tasks in a note and deleted the note, it would still show up in your tasks list. The app is now better at displaying notebooks in non-Latin languages (Japanese, for example). So you shouldn't see any more names duplicated in your notebook list. Let us know what you think and we appreciate the continued feedback. We will keep hard at work! Thank you!

  14. Thanks for the reports. We've paused our Windows rollout temporarily while we continue to investigate the issue.
  15. Update: We previously indicated that Evernote for Mac was now available as an extension via the right-click / Share menu. This was sent in error. It will appear in a forthcoming build. --------- Hello! Today we released Evernote for Mac 10.23.7. It is available now via the Mac App Store and as a direct download version from our website. New to Mac 10.23 To help you find what you're looking for even quicker, you'll now see a list of suggested filters at the top of the note list after you perform a search or add a filter. We've improved how the app handles hyperlinks in tasks, so you can tap on more links in more places, and do more with them. For example: URLs in task titles, and links in tasks within a note. If you're in the Tasks view, you can now sort your tasks by their due date, so it's easier to see what you need to work on first. We made some improvements to the way the app handles dragging-and-dropping and copying-and-pasting files between apps. Fixed highlights: Open note windows may not have been retained at restart. They should now reappear where you left them after restarting. We made some adjustments to improve note typing performance for some sporadic typing lag reports. On Mac, the 'Learn Spelling' option wouldn't show up if the app couldn't also find an alternate spelling to suggest. This should now be resolved. Occasionally, Chinese or Japanese words would disappear from a note. This now resolved. Miscellaneous editor and calendar bug fixes. Let us know what you think and we appreciate the continued feedback. We will keep hard at work! Thank you!

  21. Hello! Today we released Evernote for Mac 10.21.5. This release contains some notable feature refinements and is primarily a bugfix release. New to Mac 10.21 You can now add codeblocks and dividers to your tables. Adding filters to your note list or search results is a great way to narrow down your view, and now you can save those filters as a saved search with one click. You can now duplicate, copy, and merge notes while you're offline. Fixed highlights: Date pickers (little calendars used for selecting dates) in the app will now shift to a Monday or Sunday week start date depending on your locale. When exporting a note as a PDF, the title of the note would have a line break in the middle of a word. Note conflicts when editing on a single note (where we create a duplicate note automatically) should happen less often. We are still working on improving this further. 24. Thanks for posting this. I'm so sorry to hear this. An active member since at least 2011 (that's when I landed, was pretty sure he was active before that) he and I have shared many a thread and PM. He always pushed us to be a better product, was super helpful, and held staunch but well formed views. Will miss him round these parts.
  25. Can confirm merge works this way on desktop (Mac, Win and Linux). We recently ported the functionality over to Evernote for Web after taking care of some back end work to enable it. Adding a new title and note reordering were some improvements we added when bringing the feature back last year--glad you like them!
