I was hoping there would be a solution for this. I started experiencing this duplication error in December when I created a note on 12/6/2020 that I wanted to add content to on a weekly basis. As of this morning, I had 4 copies of this note, and some are created as I'm typing (I accidentally hit my touchpad and the cursor jumped and added text in the wrong place, so I deleted it quickly and then returned to the correct place and typed again. A duplicate showed up right after) and others seem to be created when I'm not actively working on anything. I almost exclusively use the web interface (10.6.9-web (225)) on Chrome in Win10, but I do have the widget/app installed on my phone desktop (Android/Pixel 2). I am pretty sure I've never accessed this note from my phone, and rarely use the app there, in general.
