Just a note that I am also having problems with the Evernote Helper consuming a lot of CPU resources. It typically sits at #4 in the list of most energy intensive apps - which is important when running on battery. I'd personally like to just get rid of it. Any idea why they can't make that an option in the preferences?
After the computer being booted 4 days ago, the Evernote Helper has consumed one hour and 41 minutes of CPU time. Argh!
I guess I'll just have to keep Evernote closed unless I really need it. Add Evernote to the list of programs you don't want running when on battery.
