even if I've switched the font in the note to another one, the editor defaults back to sans serif and the note becomes mixed font. how is this not an option even for a subscriber?

it's been quite a few years and this simple feature has not been implemented? i've grown to like the Serif font in the web client and have had to switch to it everytime I make a new note or even while the note was in progress as the editor keeps defaulting back to Sans Serif

the angling of the lines and tip of the icon makes it look like an "A". I thought it was for changing the color of the text until i hovered over it and looked closely at the screen it would help if it looked more like a highlighter
