A concerning thing just happened. I received a text to my cell phone number, which gave a verification code for an email address of mine which did not have an account attached until I just made one for it. To confirm the account didn't exist, I created it. Had it existed, I would have been prompted to login using an existing account email. How did the back end have that phone number for my email address, if there was no account made with it yet?
