This would not work any longer" It was driving me nuts trying to figure out why no other platform has this problem. I'm looking forward to seeing what EN does to improve sync as they stated in their plans for 2022. Just knowing the reason for the problem puts the mind a bit more at ease, so thanks once again.

I don't understand why no other cloud service has the duplicates sync issue that Evernote has. Why can't they get it right?

I occasionally get 3 notes created (had one this week), even when I make sure that my other 2 clients have been closed on my devices. This is definitely a sync issue because the first two times it happened, I definitely did have 2 other clients open. So now that I have eliminated that variable, Evernote needs to look at logs to see under what condition these duplicate or triplicate notes are created.

@gazumped Thanks for your message. I selected the tags at the bottom in Windows, hit copy, then pasted them into a new note. That's exactly what I needed! Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. This isn't an intuitive action!

I agree, you should easily be able to copy all tags from one note to a complimentary note.

This is a feature that needs to be implemented asap. The algorithm doesn't make sense at all. Why would the biggest image be the most important? For example, I want YouTube thumbnails or book covers to be the main image preview after I have captured them with my screenshot tool.

I have selected a new Notebook as the default (yes I triple checked that I have done so) but anything I email to Evernote or share to it on my iPhone goes straight into my old notebook which I still use. The new notebook is called .Inbox. Any ideas why this is not working?
