I contacted Support today and got this response: This is wild. I'm cancelling my premium account this evening and migrating all my stuff over to Apple Notes.

Evernote user since 2009 here. I'm looking into alternatives and ready to cancel Evernote Premium. This is such a glaring regression; it's disheartening to see that this has been an open/known issue for months now. If you write notes with technical terms and/or multiple languages, this is incredibly distracting. If you have the audacity to use proper nouns in your writing, this is incredibly distracting. If you use acronyms, this is incredibly distracting. 🤦‍♀️
