If I alone use my Evernote Notebook/notes then why is it even there. I get no comfort from seeing it there, only annoys me. 

BTW I was initially drawn to Evernote long ago (2 decades past), and its strident focus on syncing correctly - between devices. Back when I attended their user conferences.

I mean no ill will to you guys personally. I only wish to state my high displeasure of the direction the product has gone. The fact that so many still use Legacy (and not just for some small corner cases) should tell the company about its current product. 

BTW I use Mac Mail and I should not have to relearn or jigger my uses of the product adversely. 

The Notes were fine in Legacy. Now Clip Source Links, HTML Content, Tags now at the bottom. No longer Clicking from a Link and staying in that window. I could go on. I see that the latest has some new AI Cleanup tool. How about just switching off some ill-wanted stuff to start?  To me the classic fail is why the UI says "Only You" WTF.

My workflow from legacy. Copy each frame of text to a EN note. Then drag the first image from email to the EN Note, repeat. If that worked in Legacy why could that not follow through and work with the current? There are too many gotchas to using the current. Today in frustration I just download Legacy to this machine and did this workflow the way I have always done. I have invested a lot of time and money in this app. I want it to succeed. But saying ouch and swearing every ten seconds using the latest is just not right. And you all wonder why people still use Legacy. You couldn't pay me to use the current.

The current version of EN is a piece of $%$^.

I can list 100 ways it is inferior to Legacy. Today working on another machine that has current loaded I tried a simple drag and drop of a frame-based email of text and images into a EN Note. The images pull over as links. Oh yea reminded of that problem.  UNACCEPTABLE. 

I am tempted to drive over to HQ and vent in person.

Do you really want to crash this company I have used since 2008? I think yes.

In a clipped note I want to remove extra lines above an image. I remove one or two and then I run into the Image Editing tool. Which prevents me from continuing to remove lines. I have to relocate the cursor higher on the note to continue removing lines. Why does the image editor come up using FN + Del to remove lines above an image (maybe only the last line above the image? 

There is some order to the Notebooks in a Stack, ones I've setup. But I would expect the sub list or all notes, not what I'm now seeing on IOS EN.  Thanks

@PinkElephant The error happens on Mac OS Evernote. Works fine on IOS EN

@Boot17 I can't see your images. They are super small when opened.

I have already given this feedback to Support. It seems to fall on deaf ears. I hate product friction and this smells of it. I also like product consistency. Must I do this company's QA?

In my Notebook I have a stack : Investing, tapping on that stack name I do not get the sub-notebooks (which I would prefer) nor the Stack's total Notes sorted by Date updated or Date created. Instead I am shown one of the notebook's contents (not the first one or the last in the list). How should it operate?

I am very straightforward. It is an obstacle on IOS only presently and not on the Mac Version. 

I am, like many others here are annoyed by the constant presentation of the Home Screen "You don't have any widgets". I have no use for this screen nor its widgets (I care only about my notebooks and notes thank you. I am not forced to see this screen on the current Mac OS version. So why should I see this daily obstacle to using Evernote?

Please make it a User Preference to show/not show this. I will quickly flick it off.

A note in the note list with links like my example if a link is clicked it will jump to the link's content. Double clicking to opening a note , like my example shown and then clicking the any of those links will not operate like my example above in the current EN version. In legacy it works as I have shown. It is a true back step in functionality as is now. En team please fix. 

@Boot17BTW on the current IOS Evernote one can't have a new window so the operation as I desire poking a master project then a link, then back to another link and content works great. Just not on Evernote Mac at present. I can see making more Master Projects to manage the research I have in my Evernote Notebooks and almost 30k notes.

@Boot17 Thank you for your reply. But opening a new window is just like opening the note. And on the current version is a garbled mess opening a note link from that Opened Note/Window. It works fine in Legacy. Not with current. I have attached a video of a example opened master note (a new window) to show how it works in Legacy which I like as easy to review the links within. 

I have a Master Project Note with links for various things to review.

I like opening the Master Project and then clicking the links to see the other content displayed in that open Master Project Note, instead in the current version of being jarringly thrown to the linked in a notebook and no easy way to get back to my master project note.

It functions the way i describe and like in the Legacy version.

But sadly that nice feature is lost in the current "not-improved" version. Grrr....

Pink, your original thought was correct. The notebook was shared, but not yet accepted and this was years ago and I had forgotten. Funny how it wasn't apparent to me using Legacy and only then using current. Thanks

To find out if a notebook is Shared you click the Icon like here at the top of the notebook. Once I stopped the sharing the notebook it came clear of that problem. 

Pink, did that twice and still see that one notebook all shared 2 state on that one M1 Machine.

Searching again for Shared Notes using the string sharedate:* I see none shared in that Gov Notebook even though they are all tagged Shared 2. In total of all Notebooks still only 23 (which seems light given how many I have shared via email). If those aren't counted that is another problem ;(.  On IOS EN also reports 23 shared.

On the one M1 EN Client where I see this one issue i have not explicitly given this Gov Notebook access to anyone else. I see I can use sharedate:* in search to see those shared and only 23 show (none in this problem notebook found there).

In fact a whole notebook of mine is all Shared 2. And these notes go back to 2011! 1389 notes -   Only one notebook shows this one issue.

But Evernote's broken Click here to view permissions does not show to whom, only showing the Share Panel. 

Pink, Here attached is one Evernote Clipped with the latest Chrome browser/Clipper, and 2nd with latest Safari and 7.19 as well. Here is the output from both. I would call both FAILING in pulling out the article presented from the WSJ website.  Your capture (includes the Masthead/sidebar items) I would not accept that as what has as worked well for me in the past but does not now with the clipper. It is getting to be too much a chore to clean up (or sometimes even having to resort to saving to a PDF,  and printing said PDF to Evernote). And the additive issue of the last couple of years with images that are shown in the clipper but do not make the output note.

I too am having troubles with the WC and here with the Wall Street Journal site as an example. It's completely unusable now. Please page clipping ongoing generally and as needed on these major sites. Very disappointing.  Thanks

I too hate (that is the right word) the Homepage Widget, it just gets in the way. I want my Notebooks and Notes. I already have a long list of Notebooks, Tag Folders etc... I don't need any widgets. Make the app the fastest it can be. Allow me at least to switch it off.

As a follow on to the Search/Find issue thinking about that. On the latest MAC version searching for Cars will get the root's notes but will not put you (also) in the Cars Tag location in the Sidebar to allow you to go from there.
