  1. I use Day One also and love Markdown. Just started using Ulysses also. Great markdown support in both. Huge gap for Evernote.
  2. I feel on the biggest missing features is native support for Markdown. Please add native Markdown to Evernote.
  3. Really need to have Markdown support native. I love using evernote but the formatting of notes needs improvement. Markdown would solve this.
  4. I think the easiest way is to grab a template you like and export it out.

Then you can edit it like an HTML file and import it back in as the template that you want.

  5. I have changed the default action on my Surface Book pen. I am now able to pen Evernote instead of OneNote. I would like to also change the double click of the eraser to start a clipper action using Evernote. I see the EvernoteCipper.exe but not sure if I have to supply any args to make it work. Any ideas?
  6. Sorry for the delay in replying. Open the Surface app on your SurfaceBook and select the edit button on the left menu bar. From there you can scroll down and customize the pen. You will have to navigate to the Evernote.exe. See the screen shot below. I wanted to also change the double clip to use skitch but haven't got it to work.

    K-12 Evernote vs. OneNote

Sorry for the delay, great posts!!
8. Hello everyone! I maintain a few sites that use Wordpress. I would like to add a "Clip to Evernote" sharing service to my sharing options. I found one but it hasn't been updated in two years. Does anyone use one that they like or recommend how I can build one? Thanks
  9. I would love to see the Windows Client have functionality to work with the Surface Book/ Surface and the Pen. The "Windows App" is really not that great but I use the full Windows client all the time and would love to be able to use the pen like you can with OneNote. I have changed my Surface Book to open Evernote instead of One Note with the click of the eraser already.
  10. I love this idea but would want it on all platforms. I use Windows, iPhone and Web. I do a lot of my work on the Web version.

    K-12 Evernote vs. OneNote

I have been using Evernote since 2011. Evernote lets you search in pictures for text. I have tried to switch to OneNote because the company I work for uses Office 365, but I find Evernote much more usable. The design of Evernote allows you to concentrate on the information you are taking. You can search across notebooks very easily. I have not tried to extra text from a pic (OCR-Extracting) because I can search within each of the pics that I add as well as PDF, Word, etc (with Premium). I also find that sharing notes and notebooks is much more convenient, the security setup on note / notebook
  12. I agree. I had Sunrise and really liked how it integrated with my calendar. I used reminders on my calendar and it is so helpful. I use a mix between Apple calendar for home (family) and Outlook 365 for business. With Sunrise I had both of those calendars integrated and also all notes with reminders on the calendar view. I found it very useful.
  13. I am so excited that I am now an Evernote Community Leader. I have several posts planned and also will be planning some workshops in the Pittsburgh area.

  14. I am excited to be accepted as an Evernote Community Leader. I plan on conducting local worshops and writing more content on my blog about how I use Evernote and Tips that I find.

  15. This sounds very interesting! How is it coming along? I looked at the site and this app looks nice. Also followed you on twitter and instagram. When are you expecting to launch? @LJRAIN
  16. Is there a way to "pin" a note to the top of a notebook. My notes sort by most recent edit which I love. But I would like to have one note stay at the top, like TOC or summary. Any ideas?
  17. That's what I thought, I didn't see anything about an entire note. That would be sweet if we could do that also. I personally don't like the concept of encrypting only a section of text within a note, I think encrypting a note and/or a notebook would be a game changer.
  18. I didn't know there was a way to encrypt a single note, I know that I can encrypt selected text but not a complete note. I am going to go and look for that feature. I do agree though that an option to encrypt a complete notebook would be great.
