[Fixed in Version 10.5] White window always show up (Mac)

Same issue, on Mac. After the installation last week it worked ok for a few days, but this week: white screen, and nothing else. As othershave noted, notes that were already open can be displayed, but nothing else. No notebooks, no search. HELP
