I had a request for the ContactExporter to be able to handle Turkish characters. I can't guarantee it will do that perfectly, but here is a new beta version that should handle at least most of the Turkish character set correctly.

If you're on Windows, you can export this contact data using my free TuskTools ContactExporter utility.  See this forum thread for more details on it.

I'm going to guess you're using the Windows client.  You're correct, AFAIK there's no way to import directly into a Business account on Windows.

The Mac client does allow you to import directly into a Business notebook.

Sorry, my utility is specifically for contact information.  I'm not aware of a general-purpose CSV exporter.

@DaveH24 The first thing to check is to make sure the notes you're working with are really what Evernote considers as official "contact cards".  To do that, go to the notebook in question and put this in the search box at the top of the view:  

contentClass:evernote.contact.1

When you do that, do you get the notes you're expecting to see as contacts?

@NRobinson and @DaveH24 - I've posted an update to ContactExporter; please give it a go and see if your issues are fixed.  You should get notified to download and install the update when you launch the program.  It's also available for download here.

@NRobinson Thanks for sending the ENEX file.  I've located the issue and am working on a fix - stay tuned.

@DaveH24  I'm not sure what your specific issue is but it may well be the same root cause as with @NRobinson - so the best thing is probably to try the new version once I get the fix made and posted, and see if that fixes it for you, too.  If not, we can explore further.

@NRobinson Could you export into an ENEX format file a few of the notes that are not getting written to the CSV, and send that file to support@moreproductivenow.com?

@hb3 Hmmm, I'll check this out...

I'd like to see if I can determine exactly where the error is occurring.  When you say "tried to select a notebook": are you able to see a list of your notebooks, you can check one of them and then the error occurs after you check it and click "Next"; or do you never even see a list of your notebooks?

@Leo Gong Oh OK, so the "dashboard" is the home page view for a Space on the web client?

1) Got it, no problem.

2) I think it's quite important as it makes it easy to move multiple notebooks into a Space, rather than having to right-click each one and move it individually.  This will be especially valuable as part of the initial Spaces onboarding process that you'll be encouraging businesses to go through since in one step, they can use Import to easily move a bunch of existing notebooks into the Space.
 

Also, just to confirm - is it correct that the "Dashboard" feature mentioned in the "Welcome to the business beta" email is something still to come in the near future?

Issues:

1. On my Mac client, "Move Notebook" works fine.  On my Windows client, I don't have "Move Notebook" on the context menu.
    
2. On both Windows and Mac clients, "Import Content..." is disabled; have not figured out a state that enables it.

I haven't seen any indication of this feature - is it still to come or is it lurking someplace I haven't found yet?

Google Drive Support

SureNotifier (or actually SureFocus as it's now named; I'm about to post about that separately) gives you infinitely more flexibility to see changed items than the built-in Evernote daily digest of activity. 

First, the daily digest does not show you ALL notes that have changed that day; it only selects a portion of them that it thinks may be important to you. 

Second, SureFocus allows you to create multiple channels - think of a channel as a project or topic - and to assign notebooks and/or tags to each channel.  Then your changed notes will be grouped and sorted by channel in your daily email, making it a more organized presentation than just a single list.

Third, in SureFocus you can define not just a daily email but can go way beyond that.  For example, you can:

• set up emails to receive weekly, daily, hourly, or every 5 minutes
• choose to get an email only when there are changed notes to report on
• configure your emails on a per-channel basis

And aside from all of the above, you can also choose to be notified by push notification to your mobile device - and all of the above-described flexibility applies to receiving push notifications as well.

Lastly, we've just released a new version that adds Google Drive support - so in addition to all of the above capabilities for Evernote, you now have the same features for changed Google Drive documents!

Currently it does not notify of deleted notes (or as you say, really "notes moved to the trash").  However, this is on our list of features to consider going forward.

I've just posted an update to ContactExporter. The latest version exports the Notes field of a contact card note, along with the other new fields added since the initial release.

The fields exported now look like this:

You can download the latest version 0.7.2 of ContactExporter from here.  Existing users can update from within the app when you run it.

Nitpick: on your web page, it should be written as Evernote, not EverNote (the "n" is lowercase).

FWIW, Evernote did provide an explanation for why they removed Atlas in a forum thread last year:
