    I'm having what sounds like a similar problem, updated recently and now ALL of my notebooks (many years worth) have completely disappeared from both the local and web evernote, all I have now is the 'First Notebook'! I did download the Legacy version but I see the same thing (only the welcome notebook). I desperately need to recover those notes, please help.

    I'm also having a similar problem, all my notebooks disappeared after upgrade, and now neither the local nor the web have anything but the 'first notebook'. Desperately need help.
