    Sorry Nick - that made no difference - the error remains the same. I can search for and retrieve notes that way but can't view the list in my main notebook.

    Same problem here, but clicking "Reload" will display the missing notebook contents as a kind of top level notebook instead of under the notebook that would not load. See attached screenshot. This only started after the version 10 upgrade.
