I had contacted Evernote Support about some things in the new version that are missing that I was used to in the old version and the support person sent me a link for the Legacy version. Evidently they can be run side by side and will sync back and forth.
Can Evernote Support post the link to the legacy version!!!

Just posted a new topic about the same issue. Search runs in the Legacy version which I am using also.
How do you access Legacy mode?

Until this problem is fixed, use the option "change to" (you can configure the shortcut in the shortcut's menu) and search is working fine
What do you mean change to? How do you do that?

Hi, Mac Catalina 10.15.7, Evernote 10.3.7
Excessive Battery Drain and Fans full on
Activity Monitor says Evernote Rendering
Is it trying to render every image for every note, or are you using lazy loading and caching? In any event, it's draining my battery lightning fast.
Thanks

I have a few questions...
Is my data protected by any encryption while stored on EN's servers be default?
Under what conditions does EN access my plaintext data?
Under what conditions does EN access and use my search information?
Yesterday's (Sep 28th 2022) search issue, where I could not search my notes locally, raised a couple of eyebrows. My local searches are going to EN's server first. The question is WHY?
I understand I can encryption data I store in EN. That's not the question I'm asking.
Services like Dropbox, encryption data stored on their servers, and still provide search, etc. Are there alternatives to EN that support privacy and encryption?
