  1. I’ve been experiencing exactly the same on my Z Fold 3 for months now, while the iPhone works pretty well.
  2. I had thought 10.20 had solved the problem but in fact it's still mostly unusable for me. So frustrating. Perhaps the announced 10.21 will solve this.
  3. I have to say that Android 10.20 seems to have resolved almost all of the speed and jankiness problems I was experiencing. I hope this remains the case.
  4. for me: Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G ~30,000 Evernotes 10.18 I do use offline folders. 50% of folders synced offline. Bugs: all the clipping problems - having to fire up Evernote separately first, then clip syncing of clips takes 1 minute each search is super slow opening notes is super slow intermittent crashing when creating a new note adding in tags is super slow Tasks (LOVE the concept and most of the implementation) but sooooo slow to load ... too many clicks to change dates and also super slow I've tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times. No difference. I've tried no offline folders, and then mostly offline folders. No difference. 10.18 feels like a slight performance improvement from 10.17, but again, super slow.
  5. It really is kind of amazing. It seems many of us are long standing, paying Evernote customers, me, since 2008, and to have such ongoing slowness, despite the incremental improvements with 10.18, is very frustrating. I'm such a fan, and want to use Evernote for all of its capabilities, including tasks, which do make sense to locate within the notes themselves, but it seems that it opens and works quickly only sporadically. Yes, probably more patience ...
  6. How has everyone's experience been so far? Mine seems actually to be working a bit faster in terms of search, opening notes, Tagging and moving Notebooks. It's still not snappy and is slow compared to other apps, but I feel as though there has actually been an improvement. It's almost usable again. I'm running Evernote Pro on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I've ~30,000 notes, not downloaded offline.
  7. Is this working for any of you? What was an amazing feature is working maybe 25% of the time. I feel as though it works only on plain text Slack messages and threads and not if there's an attachment in the mix.
  8. Unfortunately, 10.17 off the APK didn't help bugs with Tasks, opening notes from Tasks, opening time, search time. This is such a shame. Yes, with ~30,000 notes in the system, I'm about to view this as a dead library. I'm spending an inordinate amount of time dealing with this issue. After a certain point, it seems no longer worth it.
  9. Thank you for this update, the link to the APK and your experience with bug squashing. This is very helpful.
  10. I agree. I'm just not tethered to a desktop all the time, and a functioning mobile Android app is crucial for me. I'll see if 10.17 improves things. Nothing was explicitly stated in the update about any of the bugs I've been experiencing.
  11. I have the same issues: one day it seems to work, albeit slowly, on the next, new notes or new clippings hang.
  12. Thank you all for your responses. Support did contact me within 24 hours and acknowledged that they're aware of the problems and working on some solutions. Now, they're putting me to work to do diagnostics, screen video grabs, etc. I'll carve out some time for this over the weekend.
  13. Good suggestions. I've filled out a support request and also downloaded the APK. It's very frustrating to have to do all of this. This said, thank you for these thoughts.
  14. I've been an Evernote customer since 2008 and have ~ 30,000 notes (many of which include attached documents) and am on the Professional plan. I've seen the bugs work out of Evernote 10 on MacOS and Windows over the past few months, but unfortunately I recently had to switch from iOS, which was working fairly well, to Android, and my experience, despite deleting and re-installing a few times, has been terrible. I'm running it on a Samsung S21 Ultra 5G, so processor shouldn't be an issue, nor bandwidth. I've tried both not downloading any of my notebooks offline and also downloading them. Neither seems to have a major impact on my issues. My recurring problems: Opening notes takes anywhere from 6 to 8 seconds. It doesn't sound like much, but it's a noticeable delay when you're trying to work in the moment, and other competitive apps don't have this problem. Search - it can take upwards of 10+ seconds to return results. Clipping - It never works on the first try. I have to re-start / reactivate the app before a clip goes through on the second try. Clipping - syncing a single note of a single article may take 30+ seconds. Stability - I'm losing 1 note every 10 or so when I create it from the widget. Interface slowness - it's so janky when editing a note and moving things around. Tasks - I LOVE the concept of have tasks with the context of the note around them, but to manipulate a single task, changing its date, for example, takes 10 seconds or more. Perhaps this sounds like a first world problem, but these things are driving me absolutely nuts, and I've flip flopped on moving over to a combo of Roam and Dropbox, but that's unsatisfactory as well. I've such a database of important note in Evernote, the interface, when it works, it the simplest yet most powerful. Also, I absolutely do appreciate both the huge task they've had to rewrite the code base and Ian's vision. All this said, I really need this to be functional on mobile as I'm not tethered to a desk. It's impeding my work. So, is there any hope? (I'm not being dramatic, but I'm a longtime user and fan who really is about to jump ship and doesn't want to.) Perhaps the problem is mine: 30,000 notes is too much?
  15. This exists. Go to the Slack app directory and activate Evernote.
