  1. Following the advice from the Evernote Support, I have resolved my problem. The solution is to use 'Revo Uninstaller' to clean up all leftover of the previous installation, then re-install it. Hope it is helpful just in case of a similar problem.
  2. Thanks for the information, BurgersNFries. I tried again to submit a support request, but still have NOT received any auto reply with a case number. I have deleted all related files and all entries in the registry containing 'Evernote', but still unable to install it. Very strange...
