  1. I asked the support and their solution worked for me...at least until now... Here you are their answer: To troubleshoot this issue in Safari, please try the following: Uninstall the Evernote Web Clipper in Safari by navigating to Safari > Preferences > Extensions > Evernote Web Clipper and choose Uninstall From the menubar, choose Safari > Clear History and choose All History then Clear History On your keyboard, press ⌘ command + ⌥ option + esc simultaneously, then select Safari and choose Force Quit Restart your Mac Open Safari and install the Evernote Web Clipper from www.evernote.com/webclipper If prompted to choose between installing the extension from the Safari Extensions Gallery or directly from the developer choose Install from Developer. Navigate to Safari > Preferences > Extensions > Updates to ensure you have the latest version of the extension installed Hope it helps.
  2. Interesting. It seems something like Chrome OS: Microsoft accepted the war on low cost PC, a battle that Chromebooks are winning 100%. Not sure it will give a touch version of Evernote, or it will be just a "frame" of the Web version of Evernote, that we already have.
  3. A feature I'd like to see on EN: when I read a PDF, EN keeps memory of the last page, so that when I come back it opens up at the last page I read before. I store in EN PDFs with many pages, even 300 pages, and I always have to put a mark on the last page, and I have to search for that page when I go back to the PDF. Such a feature would be very comfortable.
  4. I looked for alternative other than EN, and I found a useful one that integrates Google Keep with Google Drive. As I'm already paying for 1 TB of Drive, I spent this weekend testing this combo. It's good, but there is always something missing. Furthermore you need more passages for what you can accomplish with just one tap on EN. What I find really good about EN is that I can store text, images and PDFs (and other attachments) in the same note, where with Drive it's all about folders and subfolders. i.e.: think about a PDF you want to keep the link of. With EN you create a new note where you put the PDF, plus links as text, along with some comments. You cannot do this with Drive, and Keep is too basic for this. So I opted to give EN Premium another year, as my annual subscription ends on April. PS: with the 8.0.2 update it seems I'm able to annotate PDFs again.
  5. I agree. Now it seems I can annotate all my PDFs.
  6. I'm not able to annotate my PDFs: I open a PDF, and the "a" icon is obscured. If I tap on the icon, nothing happens. I'm using iOS (latest update), the issue is both on my iPad and iPhone. The Evernote App is updated. How can I fix it? I'm a Premium user (that means: I'm paying you, and I'm sustaining your business...). Or should I shift to Google Drive and annotate my PDFs with a third party App, and get back to the free plan of Evernote? Thank you.
  7. Another one bites the dust: me too! iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s Plus, iOS and Evernote App with the latest update. Should I shift to Google Drive and annotate with third party Apps, and get back to the Basic plan? I really hope not: Evernote is so handy and useful, and the new layout is fantastic!
  8. I agree: the lack of a real good touch support is a real shame and pain and make you go an look for other solutions. Hope it's going to be added soon, due to the growing diffusion of Surface Pro devices.
