Restore Manual Sync/Sync Button

Not having a manual sync on the PC aapp has increased my replication note conflicts. I don't get it - there was a force sync button. There is an option of doing it on the iOS app. Why not have it on teh PC as well. If i have made an edit to the phone, now i sometimes have to just wait ages for it to sync up on teh PC before I can use up the note. If this carries on for too long i may have to switch - as this is becoming a real issue!
