So found the legacy 6 install reading around the forums and I'm no longer having an issue... The issue above seems to be 10 only and is a deal breaker for me, Evernote is a great time saver . But if i can't just cut'n'paste info right from the note into something like putty then it loses a lot of the appeal.

Made all my notes in 6, work upgraded my laptop so reinstalled using new 10. Now all the code I've stored have Unicode Space character not Ascii so can't use Cut'n'paste any more for some of my simple UNIX scripts I need to run. There needs to be away to have Ascii Code option so formatting doesn't insert double byte characters everywhere. Default Space shouldn't be UNICODE!
