  1. Yeah, it is... And #optimism I think that such an import system would not be that difficult as a batch approach. The HTML-export from NN is something which gets your note into EN, but with lots of manual steps. But nothing a specified crawler would not be able to do. And if Evernote gets more clients with such a tool? Basically this was Nimbus approach to get people away from Evernote.
  2. In a way this what I am doing at the moment. Funny thing is that I used EN for about 10 years before switching to NN, therefore, some notes are already existing in EN, but not in the newest versions. But just to leave it mostly in NN is not an option because I almost manage everything in a note-taking-app, documentation, project management, knowledge-base. I must access it often. But for now I am doing exactly what you are suggesting
  3. I moved from EN to Nimbus end of 2020. I loved the editing features, import went well, even if had to relink the notes manually (for about 6.000 notes). But... it went out to be a catastrophy. Some month ago I almost lost all my notes, used another month for restoring them note after note and until today, it is slow, very slow, looses data, doesn´t synchronize correctly over different devices.... It is a note-taking-app not able to manage notes If somebody is interested in the full drama, read here. I still have my free EN account and my notes from 2020 and would like to come back as paying customer to EN. And I know lots of people who would like the same. At the moment I am using both systems in parallel because as written from a lot of people here, there is no valid option for getting stuff from NN to EN. Therefore, if there would be a cool importing feature in Evernote (or a script with the same effect) for NN-notes, people would leave Nimbus in droves. Any developer hearing the call? :)
  4. Same problem for me. My notes are trilingual most of the time (German living in Portugal, writing lots of English stuff). I try to give my notes a clear structure to be able to read them fast. With the spellchecker on they look like a bloodbath and are difficult to read.
  5. Yep, I think I also will go back, especially because of the topic I discussed in another thread (linked desktop notes only opening in web version). But when Evernote asks "Tell us why you want to go back since this version is the future of Evernote" I am slightly irritated I am using EN for ten years now and most of my work is organized around EN.
  6. I am working on a desktop, a laptop, tablet and mobile phone. My main work place is the desktop. Up to now (with the EN versions from ten years ago up to last Friday) I mostly used the desktop version like this: I produced a new note, clicked it right, said "Copy internal link" and put this link into another note. And when I later clicked the link, the note opened exactly in the app used which means desktop on the desktop and Android App on the Android phone. It never opened the Browser. And that is exactly what I want. I want to stay in the App. Another funny thing: If I produce such a link on my desktop with the new EN version and put it in another note and open this note on my laptop where the old version is installed, it opens correctly, which means in the app and not in a browser.
  7. Here it happens in any case. If I am Ctrl clicking, it just directly opens the web browser. It is the same with all the links and notes I produced with the new version. There just are no longer any links not leading to the Web-Version. If I get the internal link by right clicking it is a web link. Therefore, no salvation... And this is completely killing my workflow.
  8. Just updated to the new Windows Desktop version. And now I can no longer open the internal links in the desktop app itself. It just shows the link and when I click it opens the note in the web app. And this is not what I want. I would not need a desktop version if evrything is opened in the web version anyway. What can I do about this?
  9. I updated to the new Windows desktop version, this brought my work mostly to a standstill for two days now. And most of my work is organized around Evernote. Now I also have the duplicate notes issue, but combined with another effect which perhaps give you some hint. I was writing in a note and very often it disrupted my writing and jumped to the beginning of the note writing the last characters I had typed there. I had to manually go back to the place where I was writing to continue. This happened a lot, slowing down work considerably. Then when going back to work this morning I saw that Evernote had produced eight versions of the note as a result. Therefore, I have the impression that it has someting to do with syncing during my writing. But what can I do about this? At the moment I am helping myself by working on another computer where the old version is still installed...
